I joined this swimming school following a difficult experience with my son which affected his confidence in the water and his ability to swim independently. Fast forward 6 months and he has just gained his 25m certificate. Amanda's nurturing style (but also firm when needed) has meant that both he and my little girl have flourished. I highly recommend them. The only downside is you are unable to watch them at the pool side that we go to which I think I would have found difficult if it was their first time. However, I would have no problem if I was considering sending another child as my children are very happy and comfortable here and I always stick around and watch the first and last 5 minutes.

My son started with Dolphin babies and Becky when he was around 12 weeks old. Through Covid Becky kept up his water confidence with swimming in the bath over zoom. He is now 4 and loves his swimming lessons with Amanda. I couldn’t recommend dolphin babies and dolphin academy more for giving your little ones water confidence. Swimming is a life skill which Becky and the team have mastered to teach little ones with fun!

My son has only been with dolphin academy a couple of months now as we changed him from his previous swimming place as he didn’t seem to be improving. By far the best decision we as parents made, in such a short period of time my son has improved massively and is now armband free and improved with his swimming massively after only a couple of lessons, with the amazing teaching and support off his swimming teacher Shelby. Could not recommend dolphin academy enough my son loves it!

My experience with dolphin academy has been absolutely fantastic! Enrolling my child in their swimming classes was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
The instructors are not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and encouraging. They know how to work with children of all ages and skill levels, making every lesson enjoyable and stress-free. My child was a bit nervous at first, but the instructors’ warm and friendly approach quickly put them at ease.

The BEST swim school EVER.
Both of my children attend this swim school and have since being babies.
My little boy swam a length aged 3 and this is down to the amazing teachers, facilities and lesson structures.
Above all, Dolphin promote water safety and encourage your child to learn life saving skills from the baby stage.
Couldn’t recommend Dolphin enough. Amazing.

Awful experience, where do I even start. There's no family changing rooms, your not even allowed to watch your child, there's completed strangers in the pool whilst the kids are doing their lesson. And then the communication is just pretty much none existent, I cancelled my membership last month and they still had the cheek to take money out on the 1st April, on a bank holiday. Would not recommend this place at all. Seems like all they care about is getting your money off you.

Becky is amazing! This is the best swim school. Me and my daughter (13 months)have been going to the parent and child class since she was 11 weeks. She is now swimming alone with floats for parts of the 30 minute class. I'm amazed! And what's best, she loves it and loves the water!! Highly highly recommend!!!
