My daughter and I have been taking lessons with Dan for a while now, and we are very happy with the experience and the progress we have made. He is an excellent teacher who explains both theory and technique in a way that is easy to understand and genuinely cares about his students' progress.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dan Guest. Dan has an ability to make every lesson fun and still packed with great information. Like all of true masters that dedicate their time to teaching, whatever Dan teaches you is explained with their core concepts and with endless patience.

As someone who has plugged away learning 6 different instruments with over 10 different teachers. I can honestly say that no teacher has kept me so engaged, full of passion, and helped me to progress so consistently. I’ve always dreamed of nailing an instrument and have struggled to my whole life. So for me, Dan’s been a dream to find - only about 20 years too late! But maybe not for you. 😄🤘🥁

Dan has been teaching our son drums (Trinity Rock & Pop syllabus) for about a year and we are extremely happy with the progress he is making. Dan has a wonderfully relaxed yet proactive style of teaching and takes time to teach drum theory as well as how to perfect each song. Dan is really good at drums and he encourages me to get better at my drumming. In my lessons, I like playing along to music and playing drum fills. I have been learning the drums for one year and I can already hold a steady beat and play along to music, even though I'm only six years old!
