As theatres go, this is a little gem. OK, its not the biggest for sure. But it packs a lot for a small venue. With a seating capacity of around 200 its intimacy is awesome. Great stage lighting complemented by an excellent sound system. Overall i find it hard to fault, the reception area was spacious enough & bar prices were just a little higher than the pub. The gents toilets throughout the evening we're all clean & serviceable & the staff in particular were both friendly & helpful.

Lovely venue with level accessibility. Auditorium seating would benefit from a refresh, but the bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. The staff are lovely and they seem to have a lot on worth seeing. We'll definitely be back. The only gripe I've got is that they have a conventional bathroom thumb lock on the accessible toilet instead of the usual combined handle and lock and as the catch is a little loose it is really tricky to pull the door shut and turn the lock simultaneously with the same hand as a hemiplegic

Visited for the first time this week for a comedy show. The theatre is a great size for smaller, more intimate gigs, and any seat chosen has a great view.

A really disappointing experience. I made a mistake while booking on-line and even though I emailed as soon as I realised, literally two minutes after booking, I was just pointed at the T&Cs and told there were no refunds, ever. Really not what I expected from a small local theatre like this and has really put me off booking again. I can only assume that the zero-tolerance approach extends to the front of house staff too and would be wary of visiting in case I accidentally laugh or clap at the wrong time..

Excellent small venue. I've been before, but last time was Deeper Purple, who would benefit from a standing audience rather than seated. And saw Sound & Vision, which again could do with a standing audience
