My two daughters attended The Beaconsfield School, from year 7 and through 6th form. As a family we have been very happy with the school. The education they have received, both academically and with life's experiences has been a fantastic grounding for them. They are very proud of their school. The school is very good with communication and their pastoral care is outstanding.

The BBC's Panorama has learnt that only 18 UK teachers have been struck off for incompetence in the past 40 years. What is the best way to handle incompetence?

This is despite the ex-chief inspector of UK schools, Chris Woodhead, estimating some 15,000 are not up to the job. Panorama has found that bad teachers are moved between schools, rather than having their competency challenged.

In the past, FAILED TEACHERS were promoted and turned into "SCHOOL INSPECTORS". Later they were moved to Ofsted.

There's no reason to change the practice. Ofsted, as we all know, is ineffectual and a waste of time and space. Leave them there to graze.

Incompetent teachers include incompetent HEAD TEACHERS who have either been unable to motivate their team or have lacked the bottle to dismiss really useless teachers.

The Beaconsfield School continues removing students so that this school appears higher in the national league tables and continues to fail students. I do not believe there are qualified teachers at this school.
