When I first met Katie, my paddle boarding instructor, I had no idea what to expect. I was nervous and lacked confidence, afraid that I'd make a fool of myself on the water. The thought of trying something new made me worry that I’d either look like a clown or lose my nerve before even starting.

The first thing that put me at ease was that Katie limited the session to just four of us. This small group size made me feel instantly relaxed, knowing I wouldn’t be afraid to ask questions or make mistakes. It was perfect.

Katie is the ultimate cheerleader! She encouraged me at every turn, making the whole experience magical. She was genuinely invested in my goals and well-being, ensuring I felt supported throughout the session. She took photos of us and developed our skills based on our level of experience. No one was left behind!

Thanks to Katie, I gained my confidence back. She welcomed me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor, making me feel like we’d been friends for years. Katie is both professional and approachable, with the skills to match. As I discussed my paddle boarding goals and bombarded her with endless questions, she was already prepared with techniques and tips for me to try. I really appreciated how she demonstrated a move on her board and had me and the group replicate it on our boards. This approach gave me a clear example to aim for and allowed me to practice in a safe and supportive environment. It felt like Katie could read my mind, anticipating what I needed to build my skills.

When we finished the session, I felt a sense of accomplishment and joy, knowing that I had improved and gained confidence. Throughout the experience, I never once felt criticized. Instead, I left with the belief that I could handle paddle boarding, that I knew what techniques worked for me, and that I had the potential to keep getting better. For the first time in a long time, I felt proud of myself.

Me and several group members are in a WhatsApp group now with Katie and meet us and paddle together and practice! Katie is still giving us launch suggestions and tips!

Fantastic introduction to Paddle boarding. I did this with my two boys ( ages 10 and 6 ).

A very professional outfit from the start with excellent communication from my first email regarding age limits and availability Katie was quick to respond and we had the best experience out on the water.

My youngest was a little unsure at first but Katie was spot on with her calm professional manner and he was up like a natural loving it much sooner than I imagined.

The pictures Katie took are brilliant and it was a great experience going out that we are all gutted we left it so late to try.
All the equipment was provided and
I would completely recommend Go Paddle as your company to use.
If you are ever thinking about trying Paddle boarding don't hesitate you will not regret it.

Go Paddle is an excellent company that my 2 daughters and I used to have our first try out session on Paddle boards. Liz and Kate were both really friendly and supportive helping work around our busy schedule to get us out on the water. Liz took our group out and gave really clear instructions before getting out on the water on how to stand up and ride an SUP. She was very positive and encouraging helping us overcome any worries or concerns. My daughters and I all loved the session paddling in the sunshine and we will definitely be back again soon. If you want to learn to SUP in a safe, relaxed and fun atmosphere, Go Paddle should be your first place to come!

Had the most amazing time at go paddle! Liz and Kate certainly pour their heart and soul into ensuring you enjoy the experience and are excellent teachers. We were fortunate to be able to rent the boards following the lesson and it gave us a really unique and exciting way to explore the Broads. If you even pass Horning, you need to ensure you stop here and give paddle boarding a go, you won't regret it!

We organised a cluster of group sessions with go paddle. Katie was so helpful every step of the way providing options to suit our kids. We decided on a set of three resulting in their born to ride certification.
They absolutely loved their sessions, the staff are amazing!

What an evening, we had the most amazing time. Booked a beginners session for my daughters 19th Birthday (mum and four teenagers) and had the most brilliant time. KT was fantastic, great explanations of what we had to do which helped us all relax and feel totally safe. There was lots of chatting and laughter. With the beautiful weather we decided an afternoon paddle board would be the perfect addition to our bank holiday weekend having seen it advertised in the "broadcaster"
With a few to choose from we settled with go paddle and we couldn't have been happier.

Arriving at Go Paddle at 1pm having called up at 0930am was seamless. With more knowledge, professionalism and expertise than we could have hoped for we knew we were in safe hands!
The equipment was pristine and we were provided with dry bags and phone pouches to use which was a complete shock and added bonus.

The suggested route was gorgeous, and the time allowed on the water was more than enough. We had a great time and can't wait to come back with friends and family!!

What a wonderful afternoon with Liz and Katie. We were a small group of 8 with mixed abilities and from 3 different families. Katie and Liz explained everything clearly and gave us all the confidence to have a great time. I would recommend to Go Paddle to anyone thinking about having a go! They kept a watchful eye on us and encouraged us to push/test ourselves but at times were just happy to chat. I was so happy to chat I forgot to concentrate and went for a dip but it was all part of the fun.
Thank you ladies - my daughter and I will definitely be back when we next holiday on the broads and we might even bring the boys along to give you a different type of challenge!!!
