We have been with Explore Learning for about 3.5 years now, having started after the pandemic, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. All three of my children have been attending, and the impact on their learning has been incredible. They are now ahead of their school programme and, more importantly, have developed a strong, positive attitude towards learning.

One of the standout aspects of Explore Learning is the structured approach to tracking progress. The detailed reports and regular progress meetings have been invaluable in helping me understand where my children excel and where they need extra support. This has allowed us to address any gaps in their knowledge effectively.

The centre managers, Ben and Mary, have been fantastic. They are always approachable, supportive, and have a deep understanding of each child’s individual strengths and challenges. Their dedication, along with the tutors’ guidance, ensures that my children stay engaged and motivated to learn. The tutors do an excellent job of offering personalised support while keeping the sessions productive and enjoyable.

Overall, I highly recommend Explore Learning to any parent looking for a high-quality learning environment. The progress my children have made speaks for itself, and I’m grateful for the support and encouragement they receive from the entire team. A fantastic experience all around!

Our son has been attending Explore Learning (Reading branch) for over 18months now. In this time we have seen his confidence and ability grow in all aspects of learning. The tutors are very friendly and really care about their pupils and their progress. We have also been very impressed with the Branch Managers, Ben & Mary. They know every child individually and always take time to answer any questions we or the children have. Progress meetings are frequent and very valuable, the team are happy to adjust and tailor learning to ensure even progress across the curriculum. One of the biggest benefits to Explore learning is the complete flexibility in terms of re-arranging lessons and the ability to do more learning independently at home. I would highly recommend.

Explore Learning Reading has been an incredible source of fun and learning for our son. Our son found school challenging at time and EL has helped boost his confidence and development in order to catch up in areas at school. 100% recommended to all ages.

My daughters have been going to this centre since 2023 and really enjoy their weekly sessions. My oldest is neurodivergent and has had virtually no mainstream education since Year 7 because her additional needs are not being met, but she happily attends her sessions here and learns well in this environment. The staff are supportive and understand her additional needs, and the Centre Manager, Ben, is particularly empathetic with ND kids. My youngest is neurotypical and has always been enthusiastic about learning, but she disliked maths before she started the sessions - a year later, she now loves it. It’s amazing the difference the right teaching environment can make.

My 16yo son started with Explore learning in December 24’ as he was really struggling with maths at school in prep for his GCSE’s. We arranged a free trial session with Mary & Ben from the Calcot centre. Instantly we were welcomed & my son’s nerves & apprehension went straight away. We like Mary instantly, she was lovely & reassured us he wasn’t going to be in the same learning area as the younger years & would be with the same age group. He demo’d the program for about 30minutes, along with using a white board for the working out bits! Both my son & I were surprised at how engaging it was & even at the trial he learnt something new!
The program they use is for older children & tailored for his ability as well as obviously pushing in the areas he was really struggling.
7 weeks in & my son is still just as enthusiastic & never a problem getting him to go as it’s nothing like the school environment but is still learning. This evening we had a progress meeting & it was great to see his progress graph going upwards!
I wish I had signed him up sooner.
Thank you Mary & Alisha for being fab tutors & giving my son the confidence & turning his attitude towards maths into a positive one. Fingers crossed now for the exams in June.

Our son has been attending the Explore Learning Centre for over a year, he started when he had just joined reception year at primary school. It is a great service for parent's looking to support or stretch their child's development. The in person tuition is super but you also have the ability to access learning at home, in your own time. To book sessions (and to rearrange them) is very straightforward! Overall we have a much more confidence in our Son's development by conplimenting his primary school experience, particulary his acedemic development. The staff take care to personalise support and act as trusted experts in supporting your child's development.

Our daughter joined the Reading centre after the pandemic lockdowns and following the permanent closure of the Basingstoke branch, where we live.
She just loves it. The great tutors and attentive management have markedly contributed to her academic confidence and love of learning.
