The process from entering the building to being escorted into the assessment room was very fast (you are able to put your personal belongings in a small locker). But, I was shocked to see that the computers that you complete tests on are very, very old Microsoft computers (very similar to the early 2000s computers). Also, I was instructed to sit down at a desk next to the door but the door was broken and didn’t stay closed when the invigilator closed it. Hence, it would keep opening (as there was draft in the room) and hit the edge of my table. I would like to ask the owners if they can please look into upgrading the computers and equipment, especially as candidates often spent a lot of money when applying to take tests, and it would greatly increase the examination experience.

Staffs are friendly, professional and very quick process from registration to until get the result. It’s near to train station and parking area. There is parking just to opposite side of the centre which is Kingsley Road Car Park and payment via coins and PayByPhone app only.

I recently visited the Computer Learning Centre for my Life in the UK test, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the staff at the entrance were friendly and helpful, my encounter with a particular staff member upstairs left me deeply disappointed.

Upon reaching the security checkpoint, I was met by a lady whose demeanor was nothing short of unwelcoming. Despite wearing sports clothing, which I was aware was not the most formal attire, her attitude towards me was unacceptable. She instructed me to stand in a cross-like position, as if I was being detained, and proceeded to interrogate me about any possessions I had on me. Despite complying with her request, she insisted on making me feel uncomfortable by asking me to pull up my leggings, which I physically could not do as they were tight-fitting. She then proceeded to ask me to pull down my socks and roll up my sleeves, even though they were already snugly fitted.

Her demeanor throughout the process was condescending and belittling, leaving me feeling humiliated and disrespected. As I was leaving, I overheard her speaking in a language I understood, making derogatory remarks about me, which was completely uncalled for and deeply offensive.

Overall, my experience at the Computer Learning Centre was marred by this staff member's unprofessional behavior. I expected better treatment and respect from a professional establishment, and I am deeply disappointed with the level of service I received.
