My children have trained at Sitsiam for almost 2 years. In this time they have fallen in love with the Thai martial arts. They have both gained confidence in themselves and made some great friends. Their technique and skill has developed with the support and dedication of their Krus. The teaching here is very traditional of the Thai martial arts which we love. Hard work and dedication is key to progression in anything we do in life, it is no different at Sitsiam. The Krus are approachable, friendly and also fun. Discipline and respect is expected here. If these two points are an issue for you this place isn't for you.

A lot more than your average gym.

My two lads have been training here close to three years. From a personal note, it’s hard to say everything they’ve gained from training here from learning the ability to defend themselves effectively, confidence, learning multiple disciplines in the Thai martial arts, general discipline, and learning a whole new culture. It wasn’t easy but trusting the process has truly had a huge impact in every day life and I couldn’t be prouder.

Most specifically my eldest who’s now 9. He spent a solid first year training, avoiding interacting with other students, sitting on my knee before class started without an ounce of confidence to join in with the other kids and struggling with confidence to simply interact with the other kids there. Simply interacting with another child his age was a huge thing before this.

During this time, he’s developed the confidence we couldn’t imagine, has developed life long friendships, has stuck up for himself in school and now looked up by his peers, more recently gained the confidence to get in the ring with a complete stranger in front of a large crowd who he doesn’t know and performed above what I could have ever expected. Anybody who sees this who knows us will understand the huge transformation we’ve seen.

On top of this, they’ve performed at prestigious events such as demonstrations arranged by the royal Thai embassy; and festivals held at Buddhist temples. Couldn’t be more thankful for the lifelong memories and experiences my lads have already developed.

The best school to train in Thai Martial Arts. Not only does the Head Teacher have a true passion for the Thai arts but so do the other teachers which shows in the school and is passed onto the students of all different ages.

With years of experience and knowlegde you, your family and friends are in the best hands you can ever ask for to learn, study and progress in the Thai martial arts. From Muaythai, Muayboran and the weapons training including Krabi Krabong. Sitsiam is like no other camp you will train in! The group classes and private classes are exceptional.
