Absolutely amazing, it's not just kick boxing for my children but they teach mindfulness, they teach so much and have really helped my childrens confidence which has had a huge positive impact outside of kickboxing. It's helped them be more focused on school sbd help them manage regulation having Neurodivergent children. Honestly the staff are incredible.

My kids had a birthday party, they started doing there thing on the mat area and when my son was feeling lost and confused, the lady said to him “can you move out the way” which was rude and excluded him from the party. He left upset and crying they didn’t notice. I was annoyed at this behaviour. Lastly they have an automatic door that keeps open as soon as someone is near which in the freezing cold wasn’t nice especially for the kids trying to eat at the table, we had to put coats back on them. It wouldn’t have taken a lot for them to turn it off.

Both our boys come here weekly. It’s amazing for parents that work shift patterns because you don’t need to take them on the same day every week and they're very flexible; but then on the flip if you wanted the same day and time weekly it’s very straight forward to book too on their app! Our eldest son’s confidence has grown so much and this is the main reason for our review. He goes in every time incredibly relaxed, happy and most importantly full of smiles. Our eldest has always been very shy and self conscious, It’s such a boost for him walking into a class where he knows he can just be his amazing self. His teachers at school have also mentioned how much his confidence has grown and I really believe most of it is down to Mantis.
100% recommend.
Our sons are 8 and 4 and both absolutely love it!

My daughter joined mantis martial arts in January 2023 and was immediately greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. From starting as a complete beginner, she was shown the basics and supported at every stage. She now feels completely part of the family and would spend all her time at the Dojo if I'd let her! She has recently been invited to join the leadership programme and has been learning important new skills and made lots of great friends. There are always different events and activities happening and the staff really do go the extra mile. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's not just about the kickboxing, you get so much more!

My daughter joined Mantis a year ago and not only has she become a super ninja, she has grown in self belief. Everyone is super friendly, fun and accepting. I started the boxercise and was apprehensive being quite new to joining an exercise class, but my fears were soon put aside with the warm welcome. Thanks to Mantis I have now found excercise enjoyable for the first time.

My 9 year old son has always struggled with his confidence and emotions but since starting at Mantis 4 months ago he has really come out of his shell. The mindfulness that is taught has not only benefited him throughout his lessons, but has also helped him feel happier and more at ease with other situations. The two opportunities he’s had to advance his gradings and get new belts are just an added bonus. A truly amazing club x

I joined Mantis over two years ago and now my two girls have joined me too….so I can say from experience the classes for all age groups are great fun, very welcoming and encourage respect. There is no pressure to complete each belt, you can do this at your own pace. There are different levels to sign up to depending on how many times a week you can make it to train which makes it flexible when you have a family… or just a busy week! I was recommended the club by a friend and I really enjoy it, it challenges me and is a fantastic way to stay fit.

Pretty much one word to sum mantis up AMAZING!!! Both my boys go to the kids kick boxing and love every second. My youngest is only 4 so me or his dad go onto the mat with him but the sensai’s and the mentors are so helpful and encouraging! My eldest as come on so much since starting just before Christmas he’s grown in confidence and is always wanting to practice his drills at home. Thank you to all the staff and we are looking forward to my sons party a mantis in a few weeks 🥷
