A not so well known library based in the heart of Derbys normanton area, quite hidden away as all precious things are!
Very informative and helpful staff with a clean, peaceful and workable setting.
There are conference rooms upstairs which can be hired at very reasonable rates.
An interesting and incredibly compact library well worth the visit and perseverance to locate it.
5 stars for all round .

I've always been fond of this place. It's an old Carnegie library with a lot of history. It's a nice compact library with a surprisingly extensive collection of literature in South Asian and (to a lesser extent) Eastern European languages.

It's great as a local library, but its small size means that it can be hard to find a place to sit down and study. However, if you just want to go in and read casually, it's worth visiting.
