My daughter has been attending Derbyshire Academy since it opened and she absolutely loves it there. Dance days are her favourite days 😊 she attends multiple classes including singing and musical theatre. Her confidence has skyrocketed since attending. I never thought she would be able to get up and preform on stage as she was so shy but Miss Danielle has unlocked something inside her and even manages to get her doing solos!
Everyone is so welcoming and supportive M has just moved up an age group and all of the older kids really look after her and encourage her to step outside her comfort zone.
I would highly recommend Derbyshire Academy of Performing Arts if you’re looking for an inclusive and welcoming environment for your children to learn new skills and make long lasting friendships.

My 2 children have been attending derbyshire academy of performing arts for around 3 years now. They started with 1 class and now attend 6. It has given my son the determination and drive to want to perform professionally, he has made an amazing group of friends and counts the days down to his next class. My daughter is a completely different child! She was incredibly shy and her school was struggling to encourage her to make friends, with the support from Miss.Danielle and the kindness of the children that attend, she performs on stage with such confidence. She loves her classes. We had tried other clubs previous to joing DAPA but found DAPA had a much friendlier environment, everyone is welcoming and supportive and its a safe space for children to express themselves.

My Daughter has been attending Derbyshire Academy of Performing Arts since its doors opened.... The new studio is amazing. Lots of variety in classes for all ages. Miss Danielle is brilliant with the kids and has created a little family at the studio.. not only does she hold all types of classes but she hosts movie nights for the kids and even organises theatre trips which the girls love. Highly recommend..

My daughter looks forward to every Saturday to arrive, such a fantastic environment and a lovely teacher (miss danielle james) shes always very organised couldn't wish for anything more. Definitely recommend
