My daughter (16) recently had a dyslexia assessment with Julie. She was very nervous about attending the appointment and felt quite anxious about the outcome. Julie put us both at ease immediately and welcomed us in to her beautiful setting. I have since received an in-depth and comprehensive report from Julie which details the support my daughter needs and celebrates her achievements so far. The report will strengthen our position to get the support we need for her future studies and it has given my daughter the confidence and self-esteem she was lacking. Julie is a brilliant tutor and my son is always extremely happy to attend his lesson. My son's school was very accommodating and allowed Julie to deliver his lesson in school time, (he's at his most alert during the school hours!) When he was really struggling with his confidence at school, his lesson with Julie was the only way to get him into school! Julie is kind, caring and patient but most importantly understands his needs and gives him the confidence boost he requires to be the best version of himself. Can't thank her enough for everything she does for James.

My son has been tutored by Julie for the past few years now and has shown a huge amount of progress.
My son is dyslexic and finds school life and learning a real challenge which has led to a low self esteem. However, he absolutely loves going to Julie’s lessons and her approach to learning. He always says how he would chose to see Julie over any activity in a week which is amazing. He’s built such a lovely relationship with her and she understands him and his needs so well. Julie has been a massive support to coen and myself.
My sons words- She is really kind. Her lessons are easy for me to follow and she is really caring when you’re upset and she looks after you well. And if you do really well in your lesson she lets you have something out of the goody bag. 😁

I can very highly recommend Dyslexia Den. My anxious and sensitive child had an instant rapport with Julie and wanted to go back. He was encouraging his sibling prior to attending the dyslexia assessment and the reports helped us a lot to set up support needed at school. My both kids and me want to go back there again!..
