My name is James Punch and I am a Training Manager and Nationwide trainer for a very large care organization. I also run my own training service.

I have nothing but positive comments and reviews for BBE Training. I have studied 2 qualifications with them. 1 that I have completed was the Level 5 in Education and training and the second being the CAVA award which I am currently in process of completing.

The entire team have been incredibly supportive and every time that I have phoned I have had an answer and every email has been replied to in a quick and very suitable timeframe.

My tutor Julie has been nothing less than exceptional in every regard. She has always been responsive if I have had an issue or query and has always marked my work giving me constructive feedback in a timely manner. She has supported me with reasonable adjustments to my learning due to my disability and has always been supportive and positive towards me.

BBE Training has also been incredibly helpful with a personal request of mine to help send my academic transcript to the WES in Canada to help with my immigration process. They did this incredibly quickly and was supportive throughout the entire process.

I can honestly not thank them enough. It has been a true pleasure completing my qualifications with them and look forward to completing my IQA award with them next year.

I would highly recommend BBE. As a - ahem - 'mature' student, I enrolled on AET/CAVA with BBE alongside many other life commitments and during my completion of the course everything that could get in my way, did get in my way but the support and understanding BBE offered were absolutely fantastic! Far beyond what I could have reasonably expected. I have since sign posted two colleagues to BBE, both of whom have enrolled and are equally happy. Thanks BBE. X

AVOID avoid avoid all costs unless you want to give yourself a nervous breakdown. Completely unsupportive, tutors reluctant to have conversations, the title "tutor" at this establishment is wildly exaggerated.

If you are considering doing any of the teaching courses, for God's sake, do yourself a favour and do a proper course at a proper college. You might pay more, but you cannot put a price on your sanity. And all colleges have affordable payment terms and also the opportunity to get grants. Remember: pay peanuts, get.....

ADDENDUM:

As I am unable to reply to the response I make this addendum:

I had actually had an email exchange with a tutor at this organisation and was told that to do a person to person course with classes in a college would cost over £5k. Not so and I opted for a class based course.

There is absolutely no written material or written course guidance, which is in contravention to distance learning course requirements. When I pointed this out, I was sent a single text book. Responses from tutors are obtuse and not really constructive in a helpful way. Even tutors and teachers in post, who have been working for years found it extremely difficult bordering on impossible to decipher what was required. As for the tutors, here's a breakdown:

Tutor #1.....you ended getting rid of
Tutor # 2 When he called, I was returning from teaching in a different part of the county. Within 2 minutes of missing the call and pulling up, I returned phoned the tutor back. He didn't answer the phone, but sent me a message saying if I got lucky, he had a slot to speak to me, but it might be taken by another student. So, was he only going to have a two minute conversation? How helpful. We got more emails about his inability to be available due to all his social engagements and holidays.
Tutor #3...no concrete guidance and abrupt, no telephone support.

In short, you provided an ineffective marking service. I have witnessed a colleague in great distress on several occasions due to the nature of obtuse responses.

What exactly do you wish to discuss? I didn't get any phone options from the tutor, so WHY would I discuss anything further? Absolutely pointless.

I sat all of my AAT level 3 and 4 exams here as a self-studier. Firstly, the staff are all amazing and often moved things around to accommodate my requests to sit exams on certain days. The price to sit exams is very competitive. The room where I sat all of the exams was comfortable and the computers modern. There were some IT issues during one of the exams I sat, although this may have been an issue with AAT rather than BBE. There was also an IT guy on call.

My only gripe is that the walls are thin and on a few occasions there was some kind of training going on in the room next door. The noise was a little distracting when trying to concentrate on a question. I'm not sure how much can be done about this.

All in all very happy with the service and if needed, I would 100% use them again.

Just completed my qualification after initially starting with another provider and boy am I glad I did!
BBe - Really helped , supported and encouraged me to complete this!
The staff and tutors really took it upon themselves to assist !

I am a boat owner stopped at the 48 hr moorings by the side of the company premises. I had to walk around the premises to get to the shops nearby whilst experiencing a great deal of back pain because of the company restricted access through the parking lot. I had to walk for 45 minutes insread of 10 minutes, eqch way. This is against British law and completely inconsiderate. It may be private propriety but this was accessible from the mooring point, this is written on the signs at the mooring and there is no reason to be this inconsiderate.

Buyer beware! Paid £99 deposit, did not enroll, requested a refund less than a month later and got told I'd lost the lot! Scam company. (*and I did not access the training portal, this is a blatant lie by BBE!)
