We just finished the 6 week, Thriving Teen course with Jo and it was brilliant. Each week we learnt new techniques and tricks to keep our 1 year old Labrador's focused on us and improved massively in areas such as loose lead walking and recall. When our pup was younger, he did a puppy training course with another trainer and it wasn't great, but Jo was excellent, very focused on the class and progress of each dog. The online resources are also great and got us ready for each week. Could not recommend more, absolutely worth the cost. Thanks!

Our 2 year old dog, Elsie, was having severe anxiety issues with bikes whenever they were in close proximity. She became very agitated and continully barked and tried to launch towards them in fear. We began using a muzzle as we became concerned for both her and the bikers safety. We made contact with Jo for help and advice and decided to enrol on the reactivity course. Within a couple of weeks we started to notice so much improvement in Elsie’s behaviour towards bikes and by the end of the course there was almost total success. It is no longer an issue. Elsie is much happier on her walks or whenever we see bikes and we in turn are much more relaxed. We must thank Jo for all her help and guidance throughout the course and her continued support.

Ruby and I did one to one training working with dog reactivity with a great initial progress. I have continued to work with ruby and attend reactivity sessions when possible which are great.
I love the way Jo works and she has always been extremely helpful and is always happy to answer questions.
Ruby is a rescue who came to me with a few issues Jo has helped me with. The biggest being dog reactivity but also with people, cats and my rabbit and guinea pigs.
I love her gentle approach which has worked great for us.

Jo has been an invaluable source of clear and practical advice as we navigate being puppy owners again. We booked a 1-2-1 before our puppy arrived as well enrolling on the puppy class.

This proved invaluable in refreshing our hazy memories of puppy ownership.

As our lovely labradoodle Rudi grew we started to notice some increased stress and tension. With Jo’s guidance and support we kept talking to the vet and querying his behaviour. eventually with the help of a vet physio found a physical problem with his front legs; which is now being addressed. I honestly don’t think we’d have got this far without Jo; increasing the risk of longer term damage to our lovely boy.

We have been working with Jo for over a year with my rescue dog Cybi.

She came to us from a free roaming pound in Cyprus where she was around other dogs 24/7. As soon as we walked her she would bark, lunge and spin to try to get to other dogs.

We had a few 1-2-1 sessions and then completed the Reframing Reactivity Course, this course was amazing, it allowed me to really understand why Cybi was reacting and what I can do to help her. Since completing the course we have come along way, the reactions (although still there) are less frenetic than they were, she calms down so much quicker, is able to self soothe and I can get her focus back. I can now take Cybi on walks with other dogs, knowing how to manage the meet has helped a great deal!

We continue to work with Jo we attend her Reactive Dog Social (humans only) and her Co-exist training walks which are held monthly.

She is an amazing person, Cybi adores her and Tom, she is always on the end of the phone for any questions even the non-reactive stuff when your being a paranoid pet parent! I would honestly be lost without her!

We attended puppy power training classes and had some additional puppy support at home. I cannot recommend Jo enough. She is calm, patient and adapted to what we needed week on week. We loved the opportunity to train alongside other puppies and their owners.. and to have follow up 1:1 support at home, to iron out any niggles that we came up against. Jo is (of course) amazing with Fergus, but more importantly with me- offering calm advice and helping me to identify normal puppy behaviour and breed behaviour… with clear and achievable advice for us to implement alongside full time work and a busy life. Thank you Jo, I’m sure we’ll see you again! Gina x
