I've now completed quite a few training courses with Scott Fraser and I can honestly say the training is top level, Scott and Anna take a huge amount of pride in how their company is run.

From the first steps of looking at their website which not only contains course information, availability dates and prices but also a lot of very good and useful information ( I'd recommend having a browse through the website ) the booking process is extremely easy and the communication is excellent.

The instructors are all extremely helpful and knowledgeable weather that be Scott himself or one of the other trainers, the equipment is nice to use and the sites used for training have always been in really nice locations.

There are places much closer to where I live but I happily make the long trip to Scott as I know the training experience will be the best around!

Fantastic courses, well run and well equipped, with great facilities. Instructors have all got excellent knowledge. Great balance between formal and informal teaching. Would definitely recommend Scott Fraser to anyone looking to get into tree work, whether you’re starting with little or lots of experience. And I’ll definitely be using them again to complete my training and do the courses they offer.

I did my tree felling course, followed by tree climbing and aerial rescue. As a relative newcomer to chainsaws in a professional setting, I was immediately put at ease and given the confidence to complete the courses and pass the assessments. This was all down to the people at Scott Fraser. Thank you!

I undertook an intensive ‘flexible tree surgery course’ from Scott Fraser Training.
Firstly the booking process was ideal as I was trying to juggle my current shift work rota along with the content of this course. Anna couldn’t have been more helpful or informative during this process.

Having started the series of courses from a standpoint of having never picked up a chainsaw to the end of coming away qualified up to using a chainsaw in a tree from a rope and harness I couldn’t be happier.

That said the insight that I got from Scott throughout each course was far far in excess of just the assessment criteria. I have been armed with a much wider knowledge of the industry as a whole and many tips and techniques which will see me through however my new career progresses.

These courses are in my opinion well worth the investment and time given the ample outcome obtained from them.

We now always use Scott Fraser and Anna for all of our training. We have used several different training providers in the past. Scott and Anna are efficient, clear and straight forward to deal with during the booking/lead up to the course. I recently attended a domestic chainsaw course run by Scott. I found the day really helpful, relevant and informative. There was a good balance of practical and theoretical activities covering health and safety, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), maintenance, safe operation and techniques. I left feeling much more confident and positive about approaching domestic chainsaw use. Scott is a very knowledgeable and approachable tutor and although his skills and expertise far exceed the remit of the course, he relayed information in a constructive and considerate way. Unquestionably 5 stars. Thank you.

I couldn’t recommend Scott enough. Over the last few weeks I’ve done my CS38 & 39 with him. Training is very informative, and goes well above the level of what you need to know.
If your looking at doing any of your tickets I would advise to go to Scott rather than one big training centres as everything is on more of a personal level.
Will be doing more with him in the future.
