This is the best madrassah ever! And I should know as I am a student there. The teachers are experts at teaching us and I have learnt so much about Islam here.Please ignore all the bad reviews.

My kids absolutely love attending Madressa here! Every day they return excited and tell me what they've learnt.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable and caring. They are kind and attentive and their passion for teaching reflects in the positive behaviours of our children.

The children are treated well here and Madressa is fun and entertaining for them. They really look forward to going each day and they become disappointed if they are unable to attend for any reason; illness, etc.

The Madressa is also very generous towards the children, regularly treating them to snacks and hosting pizza parties and fun activities multiple times a year.

Unique Islamic organisation that casts for students from the age of 4 onwards. Has facilities for Nazira, Hifz and Aalim classes. Madressa regularly holds programmes and community events for the local community. Everyone is invited.

Teaching methods have evolved so much in a positive way. My kids look forward to going to mosque and they are taught with proper tajweed from the start. Teaching is very age appropriate starting at 4 with colouring books and letter/sound pronunciation and gets more advanced year by year. They cover Arabic, Quran, Hadith, Daily Duas, Namaaz, Manners and Etiquette. The Madressa has great communication with parents via phone, letters, texts & an online parent portal. They also regularly host fundraisers, sponsored events, sports day, party days (Eid), and Jalsa performances. I have been very satisfied with this mosque and continue to recommend it to friends and family.

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding our recent experiences at Madressa Mahmoodia. Unfortunately, our time at the madressa has been marred by constant harassment and unfair treatment from staff members.

Despite approaching the management to verify claims of misbehavior and requesting permission to view CCTV footage to substantiate incidents, we have encountered reluctance and lack of cooperation. This unwillingness to provide evidence suggests an inability to verify these incidents, leading us to believe that excuses are being made to cause distress.

Furthermore, it has come to my attention that several children from the madressa have reported instances of management approaching them to conspire against my child on multiple occasions. While I leave the judgment to Allah, it deeply concerns me that such behaviour could occur within an institution meant to nurture and support our children's Islamic education.

Additionally, I wish to address the issue of double standards that we have experienced on numerous occasions. The speech delivered by Maulana Suleiman during our initial visit to Madressa Mahmoodia, wherein he emphasised that the management was not prejudiced against Pakistanis, now resonates differently in light of recent events. It is disheartening to realise that this statement may have been made to conceal underlying biases and issues within the madressa.

Ultimately, these experiences have greatly disappointed us and tarnished our children's Islamic journey. We hope that the management team will reflect on their actions and strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all students, regardless of their background.

the best madressah in Yorkshire. the staff are professional but also very welcoming to parents. they are like friends to students and pupils. they reward kids for their efforts and make sure any issues arising are dealt with instantly. communication is brilliant and they are always ready to listen. they have a sensory room for children with additional needs and also classes. the ustaads are brilliant and within the short time my kids were there they learnt so much i was overwhelmed. the staff ensure every child's safety and know every child. they don't judge and they don't ignore parents. everyday they are outside in all weather ensuring safety of children, public and the community at the same time. i wish my child could get in for apa classes but they were fully booked and a waiting a list. they teach children Islamic education but also social and environmental everyday and modern day living issues so kids are aware and respect others outside the madrasah and daily life. this one small madressah can teach and train so many other madressahs out there in this community. the only madressah i recommend for kids with all level of learning and understanding. jzk for everything.
