The importance of sport throughout our lives cannot be over emphasised. Karate may seem like an individual sport from the outside, but you are part of a team. A team of like minded people who all started at the same place. With this martial arts group you can experience some awe inspiring progress. I was an onlooker of a pretty ungainly boy who developed into a very well disciplined Black Belt 1st Dan teacher over a few short, yet dedicated years. You may take the odd knock, but there will always be a hand to pick you up. Nothing worth having is easy. I have coached and instructed several sports for getting on four decades now, Matt is clearly not that old, but, as a parent and fellow coach, I highly recommend this team and activity.

I have enrolled both my children in Matts karate class for kids (little ninjas) and I couldn't be more pleased with how they are progressing. Matt creates a positive and encouraging environment. My son really was struggling to control his mood and this has helped him tremendously. My daughter is ASD & ADHD and it’s supported her and helps her burn energy. I have been so impressed with the classes that we have no moved on and take part as a family in the junior and adult class which I myself am really enjoying. It’s great to do something as a family and gain the benefit of exercise and valuable self defence skills for us all! Highly recommended!

Little one joined wanting something out of school to enjoy & achieve didn't want the usual football clubs, couple of weeks in & his enthusiasm is amazing, he can see some of the others with different coloured belts & asking what it takes to get one, setting his goals, building confidence, focus & discipline whilst having tons of fun. Approachable trainer & group at an affordable price. Cannot wait to see our young man's journey progress

If you have an interest in Karate, or are looking for a fun way to improve your fitness, this is an excellent choice. I had never done any martial arts before and have truly enjoyed my experience with the classes so far, very engaging and active.
