I can't recommend Tony S enough as a driving instructor! From the very first lesson, Tony made me feel completely at ease. I was nervous about learning to drive, but Tony's calming and patient approach instantly put me at ease. His ability to stay calm, no matter the situation, made all the difference for me.

What I truly admire about Tony is how incredibly patient he is. He never made me feel rushed or pressured, even when I struggled with certain maneuvers or made mistakes. He always took the time to explain things in a way that made sense, and he would walk me through every step until I felt confident. His encouragement and positive attitude were exactly what I needed to feel comfortable behind the wheel.

Not only is Tony a great instructor, but he's also genuinely invested in his students' success. He tailored each lesson to my progress and needs, focusing on areas where I needed improvement, while making sure I felt confident with everything I had already learned. His teaching style is personalized and effective, and I could see how much he cares about helping me become the best driver I could be.

Thanks to Tony’s guidance, I passed my driving test ( and I’m super slow learner 😮‍💨) . I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, and I truly believe Tony is the best out there. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly supportive, Tony S is absolutely the instructor you want!

Pole Position is an absolutely fantastic driving school, they managed to find me a space with Alex who is incredible at what he does. Alex has the patience of a saint, is an experienced and knowledgeable instructor who never doubted me and always inspired confidence. Alex used every opportunity as a teaching and learning moment, imparting wisdom and helping me to understand the "why" behind things. Lessons were a blend of theory and practice, and I felt my learning objectives and goals were met. Full of optimism, humour and a calm approach - he is a credit to the driving school! I had driving lessons with Alex from Pole Position who was the best driving instructor I could have hoped for. He was very patient, explained things well and we were able to chat and have a laugh which made driving lessons SO much less stressful and really fun. I passed first time thanks to Alex!! I did a 20 hours semi-intensive course with Rob, and I passed last week!

I could not have wished for a better instructor than Rob. I had done driving lesson sporadically over the years before with 3 or 4 other instructors and Rob has been by far the best one. He is incredibly kind and patient which made all the lessons very enjoyable and provided the perfect environment to learn and improve my driving. As I came down from London for lessons, he was very understanding, starting and ending lessons from the station and being flexible around train times.

He is also clearly knowledge and a very experienced teacher. Rob was able to give me very specific advice by understanding the underlying mechanisms of my bad driving habits so that I could change them.

Not being new to driving, I had picked up quite a few habits that would have made passing a test impossible.
Thanks to Alex, these were noticed and remedied to an extent that I am now driving better and more confidently than ever and I was able to pass the test too.
I would like to say, also, Alex doesn't just train you to pass the test. He makes sure that you learn how to operate a car correctly.
I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
