Started driving with Gary at the beginning of March and after having met Gary I knew right away that I was going to feel comfortable with him as my instructor. I done the first 2 hours in his BMW 1 Series and then we did the rest of my lessons in my own car which made sense as was having 2 x 2 hour lessons each week and wanted to do my actual test also in my own car which I fortunately was able to do. After 17 hours of lessons, I took my test today 4/4/25 and passed first time 😊😊.
Would highly recommend Gary to anyone wanting to learn to drive. He’s extremely professional and covers everything you should know in order to become a competent driver . He is extremely patient and knowledgable and I couldn’t fault him in anyway. I truly am going to miss our lessons as you spend a lot of hours with eachother and then when you’ve passed your test which is always the ultimate goal it’s all over. Gary offers a 2 hour motorway lesson which I feel
Is so important as it’s not something you get to do whilst learning and I’m looking forward to doing this also very soon. Joanne Wells

I passed with Gary about 12 years ago and it sounds like he is still as amazing as ever.

I was a nervous driver, I'd failed twice and thought I'd never pass. Gary stripped back all my anxieties, made me focus on doing the right things... And I passed first time with Gary!

I never thought I'd pass after failing twice but I just hadn't found the right instructor. I'd recommend Gary to everyone. His results speak for themselves.

Passed my driving test in April 2022 after learning with Gary Cooper on my 5th attempt. This was mainly due to Covid and having to stop lessons for several months at a time. In total it took me 2.5 years to finally pass. I was a very nervous driver and lacked confidence in my abilities. Gary was always patient with me and encouraging. Many of my family members were also taught by Gary over the years, some passed first time.
Although I passed my test in a manual car, I now drive an automatic because I don't like the changing gear aspect of driving and find it complicated. However these days I'm much more confident in my own car and have recently started driving on motorways! Something I was absolutely terrified of.
I drive many different company vehicles for work, including a large van, all manual and I still hear Gary's voice in my ear when driving them.
Gary has since retired, but we are still in contact every now and then.

Absolutely brilliant. I've been driving 2/3 years now and still hear Garys voice telling me what to do. Really clear instruction and a friendly guy. 10/10 would recommend
