I began riding at Cornilo stables around 1.5 years ago, as an adult who had never ridden and fancied learning something new. Friendly instructors and kind, well-cared-for horses welcomed me.
Thanks to the consistent and structured lessons of the dedicated team at Cornilo Stables, I've transformed from a novice to a confident rider.
All the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. They always have time to answer any queries I might have and are all very knowledgeable in what they do.

I was lucky to get Sally as my trainer. Sally is highly knowledgeable and experienced. Not only does she understand and “read” horses, but the riders, too. She could work around my limitations and mental blocks, find ways to reach me, and constantly help me improve my riding abilities. This lady is very intuitive. I am very privileged to have Sally as my trainer. A big thank you for everything and your patience and fun lessons. Lessons with Sally are a treat.

Special thanks go to Marina, Izzy, Robert and Guinevere, who are all very friendly and make me feel welcome.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our girls went riding at Cornillo yesterday. They absolutely loved it! The horses were excellent and the care and attention given to them and the horses is second to none. Safety and wellbeing of horses, staff and riders are a priority and delivered in a fabulous and caring way. The staff, our instructor Izzi and her assistants were so good and left me very impressed. I have been riding for over 20 years now and this is is one of the loveliest and best places I have come across. We will certainly return. Highly recommended.

Booked in for 2 disabled children. Was not asked about their level of disabilities or asked any questions to assess their suitability. Got there to be told one of them could not ride due to his disability but could not have a refund as he was allowed to stroke a horse!

The best tuition in the South East. I can't fault any of the instructors; they make you think and identify areas you want to improve on and come up with innovative ways to do that. You won't find yourself just repeatedly trotting to the rear of the ride when it's your turn! Great too with nervous riders.

I did prefer this place this is an amendment to a previous review this place was great but I have since changed my opinion. Its git to a point where they think me paying for my 3 daughters is a given and quality has gone down. If your not in the saddle club you don't get considered for anything. Daughters last lessons amongst others was the tipping point for me they were just taking the mick my daughters don't do saddle club and was sat like the others and her lesson turned into a practice session for the others doing an up coming assement and then my daughter had one go last at the end not knowing what to do as wasn't included. Instructor Lisa is up and down with how she teaches I feel she don't explain herself enough for the for the kids to understand my opinion and owner hovers around like a fly wanting you to rebook the moment your there. Now looking else where as this place has been a waste of money

I still attend here every week and my riding is going from strength to strength. Finally feel confident to start jumping again, albeit preparing on poles right now. (UPDATED 03/2023)
