the online resources - pre-recorded videos and practise mock exams - really helped to boost my child’s learning and development further.

The mock exams played an important part on my child’s 11+ preparation. The detailed feedback we received after each mock exam was incredibly useful in highlighting areas that needed improvement, giving us the chance to focus on these weaknesses before the real exam. My son attended four mock exams to prepare him for CSSE test. He was very anxious, but experiencing mocks under similar conditions as the test really helped him to build confidence. The tests are well designed, reports and feedback are very detailed, which helped us understand where were the gaps that needed extra practice. The performance on these mocks also gave us good guidance on how our son would perform on the real test, and he steadily improved with each mock. I highly recommend the 5 Day Intensive and the Creative Writing courses. The detailed reports after each courses were really helpful. We also booked quite a few Mock exams throughout the summer which is a must that had helped my son boast his confidence. I'm really glad we did as my son achieved successful results in both the Kent Test and CSSE.

I cannot recommend these mock exams enough. The test centre itself was run professionally and without any problems, keeping in mind the team was responsible for 100s of these mock exams each week. The feedback after each test helped us greatly to target the weak points. These also proved to be vital in mentally preparing my son to overcome anxiety and nerves on the day. In the end my son's final score was similar to what he had for the mock exams.

Mr. Goldsmith usually doesn't offer GL exams. However, he was happy to arrange for these exams for my son as he was preparing for Ilford County. The exam papers were of exceptionally high quality. My son later reported that they were very similar to the actual test he sat in September (both format as well as content). I would also like to add that Mr. Goldsmith at no point tried to "upsell" any mock exams. In fact, when I asked for his opinion on the number of mock exams we should book, as we were totally new to the whole 11+ journey, he suggested a number that was much lower than I expected (and which I found manageable in the end). In my opinion, no exam preparation should be considered complete without these mock exams.

The mock tests were extremely helpful in preparing my son for the 11+ exams. It helped him practice and familiarise himself with the 11+ style test questions in an exam setting. Having the papers marked and sent back to us to review was also extremely helpful. Definitely recommend doing these mock tests.
