Jonathan is an excellent teacher and our son very much enjoys his lessons with him. I think Jonathan uses a variety of activities and games to make it enjoyable and tailors to each student. He is also helping my son become a really good musician too and encourages him to write and record. There is good communication and a clear plan for what needs practicing each week which I appreciate. We have been delighted with our son's progress and would recommend Jonathan to everyone.

My son has been coming to Jonathan for a while now and he has benefited so much. He has always loved music but has never had the right support. Jonathan has improved his confidence and self esteem and given him the tools to be creative and find his love for music. He loves recording his own style and making up his own songs. My son struggles with anxiety and having had a tough time in school found it difficult to trust anyone. Through time and patience and kindness Jonathan has built up a solid relationship with my son so he can try new things and learn different aspects of music. Highly recommend.

When I was looking for recommendations for a piano teacher locally for my daughter, Jonathan’s name kept coming up again and again and I was so pleased when he had a slot available. When my daughter began her lessons, I quickly understood why he comes so highly recommended. My daughter loves her piano lessons with Jonathan, his enthusiasm, his varied and fun syllabus and age appropriate games and incentives for learning really help her get a lot of joy out of her learning. She especially loves composing and recording her own music and exploring the other instruments in his studio, and he is happy for her to incorporate this into her learning to develop her musicality and hopefully give her a lifelong love of music. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a Piano teacher in the Emsworth area.

Jonathan is a fabulous piano teacher. He’s exactly the right mix of patient, encouraging and challenging. I look forward to my lessons every week and am motivated to practice by the pieces and exercises Jonathan chooses with me.

Jonathan's lessons are fun, structured and appealing to all ages. He has an amazing patience with his students and teaches to the individual really understanding how his pupils learn and what will motivate them. Annabelle has improved massively in her understanding of music notation and her skill at playing in a relatively short time. More so she is keen now to practice each week to show Jonathan how she has improved and move on to the next thing. Jonathan's lessons use games and a mixture of practising from music and experimenting with composing own music which can then be recorded and emailed to keep. He has a lovely music room in his home which is warm and inviting and he is avaliable if you need advice outside of lessons. Thank you for your amazing teaching. I'm quite inspired to start lessons again myself!!
