If you are looking to complete your PCV Licence I will highly recommend Gordon Springate. Having never driven a vehicle this size I was nervous, however Ian made my four days of training very enjoyable. He was very kind and relaxed. His years of experience are reflected in his teaching. Top Class.

Despite DVSA cancelling my test on the last day, Mark was able to reschedule me quickly and was good to take me out for a few hours before my test. Again he was calm and patient and the reassurance I needed before my test.

Again would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their licence for either personal or professional reasons.

I started my HGV training with a different local company but wasn’t 100% satisfied so after speaking with my father in law who passed with Gordon Springate I decided to go here. They were more expensive than the first school but you get what you pay for - second to none experience and training.

I had Richard as my instructor really nice genuine bloke and clearly has a lot of experience.

I felt Richard made everything simple, gave me a good understanding of everything I needed to do and would politely correct me on errors I made and gave me good advice and guidance on how I should adapt my driving.

With the excellent guidance from Richard and Mark - for my CPC training, I got through all my HGV training and passed first time in the four days with Gordon Springate.

For anyone who’s doing their research on what company to go with for their HGV license, I would highly recommend Gordon Springate with no hesitation.

Passed my HGV class 2 on Friday first time! Gordon Springate was a really good company from my experience.
Richard was my instructor for the 5 days and I can’t fault him to be honest a decent bloke and a good teacher he made it all a good experience for me, would definitely recommend!

Passed my class 2 HGV last week. My instructor was Richard, who was fantastic couldn’t have asked for a better person to teach me. Was friendly, constructive and just overall a great teacher. Thank you very much for that. Would highly recommend!

This is an old school family run business at its finest. My experience with them was professional yet light hearted and very enjoyable. My instructor (Ian) was razor sharp and got me totally prepared for what was a pretty tough test.
