My son recently attended the Python Coding Camp online with Riva Learning, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience! From day one, he was engaged, excited, and genuinely happy to be learning something new. It’s not always easy to find programs that truly capture a child’s interest, but this one definitely did.

The camp ran for five days, and each day he came out with a huge smile on his face, eager to share everything he learned. As a parent, it was amazing to see him not only enjoying himself but also gaining confidence and valuable coding skills along the way. He’s 13 years old and had not much prior experience with Python, but the instructors made the material approachable and fun. They were patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about teaching.

We’ve already signed him up for weekly lessons starting at the end of the month, and he’s counting down the days! He’s never been this enthusiastic about any class before, which says a lot. I highly recommend Riva Learning to any parent looking to give their child a solid foundation in coding in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Great job to the whole team!

Riva have been teaching my son for a few years. Initially to learn python and then to support his Computer Studies GCSE course and revision. The quality of the teaching, the GCSE course material and exam revision timetable and revision material is excellent. The principal takes an active interest in all his students and has gone above and beyond by ensuring my son has the right teacher and adapting the teaching to support my son who has special education needs. My son really enjoys his classes at Riva and they have not only helped him keep up with his classes at school but enabled him to revise without feeling totally overwhelmed. I highly recommend their courses.

I would highly recommend Riva learning. Gobind is an excellent and engaging teacher and my daughter hugely benefited from his class. When your kid is motivated enough to log-on on their own, tell you what they studied and what they will do the next day, and doesn’t complain about how long it is, it says something for itself 🙂 coding is no longer a feared subject for us, she is on top of things 🙂 thank you!

My 15year old son participated in the GCSE Conmputer Science course, in a small group. Αsh is a great teacher, very methodical and very organised. My son’s understanding in the subject improved a lot and feels much more confident ahead of his exams. I highly recommend rivas learning and i am now looking into booking coding summer courses for my younger kids.

I was delighted that my 10-year-old son could benefit from a trial class before committing, to have a good understanding of how convenient, engaging and fun online sessions on Scratch would be. We could see immediately that the teacher was experienced as he could explain clearly, adapt to his audience and was kind and supportive. I would recommend any parent/carer to register and test one for their children too. You won’t be disappointed!

My daughter did the Python Coding camp over half term and really enjoyed it more than she thought she would! It was fun and relaxed in small groups and she looks forward to the GCSE course soon too! Gobind is a lovely and enthusiastic teacher

My 13 year old son really enjoyed the intro coding course. It was, fun, interactive and he has grown in confidence. He is looking forward to moving onto the next level. We tried other courses in the past and they weren’t as good as this. Definitely recommend Riva Learning

Great course! My 14-year-old has just completed the one-week Python coding camp and he absolutely loved it. Small class, great teaching, fun interactive activities, I would definitely recommend it!
