So I was in the Hilton for work over the past 6 weeks it has been a pleasure. Rooms are spacious and have everything I needed. Gym is fantastic and so is the breakfast. Overtime have got to know the staff during my stay both at reception and breakfast and all have been extremely friendly and accommodating. Lucy on front desk and Vali in breakfast have gone above and beyond to make my stay more enjoyable too! Definitely would stay again or recommend to others.

Great hotel and location.|Location was great and easy to find plus it’s 10mins drive from Harry Potter Studios and outside congestion charges (from where we drove from).|Parking was ample and available (£10 for guests, but we got it for free apparently, which was a bonus)|Rooms were a bit dated, but clean and had everything you expect. Did the job for 1 night and the kids loved it. |Staff - checking staff were great. We came pretty late to checking-in but they were quick, polite, professional and gave the kids some goodie bags and us some advice on local traffic for the next day. Check out staff were also great, checkout was quick, plus they gave some Harry Potter glasses for me and the kids. |Breakfast - Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as the we didn’t have time, but probably would next time if we had time alternatively there are lots of uber/Deliveroo options.||Only suggestions - maybe a few more plugs or extension lead near the mirror for hair tools or a mirror where the desk/chair are. Just makes it easier to get ready.

The stay was fine for what I needed—it served its purpose by being conveniently located near my next destination for an early morning meeting.||The hotel itself is a bit dated, and the rooms could use a refresh. That said, they were equipped with the essentials, and the bed was comfortable, which made for a decent night’s sleep.||The main issue I had was with the restaurant experience. While I appreciate attentive service, the constant interruptions became overwhelming. A young American staff member checked in on me sixteen times over the course of about an hour and twenty minutes. Questions like “How is everything?”, “Would you like dessert?”, “Can I get you more drinks?”—over and over—making it very difficult to enjoy my meal, let alone get any work done.||Eventually, I had to ask him to stop checking in unless I called him over. There’s a fine line between good customer service and intrusive over-attentiveness, and this definitely crossed it.

The hotel itself was absolutely fine, no issues.

However, the cost of food and drinks was exceptionally high. £9.10 for a pint of lime and soda - unbelievable. Despite the food being really nice, delicious and definitely would eat there again, the costs were phenomenal, and prices did not reflect the standard of the rooms.

Harry Potter themed room. Sounded exciting for the kids. Arrived, very nice clean reception and staff great. After a long long long walk to the “special Harry Potter themed rooms” you can tell when your near it from the stale stagnant smell.

“Harry Potter themed room” well if you can call it that. The child’s (sofa bed) bed above that had 20 odd Harry Potter themed words stickers peeling off of the wall and and Harry Potter blanket and the wardrobe as you enter having a platform 9 3/4 sticker on it.

Don’t waste your money. The room stank of a stale mouldy smell. We only stayed as it was too late to drive home.

Breakfast was lovely and Jamie our waiter was amazing. Over 50 years in the hotel. Probably the same time our room was deep cleaned

Given the catalyst of events leading up to my first solo trip to London with my girls. The young lady at reception was fabulous. she was kind, helpful and understanding and helped to make our stay much more pleasant. Thank you Lucy!! ♥️

The staff are great and very friendly. Carol, Oscar, Rabby, Kinga, Tallulah and Lauren are all extremely professional and friendly. A credit to the company. Never had any issues except for other hotel guests. Everything is always very clean and the gym is great.

We stayed here because it was included in our Harry Potter package visit. We were given specific Harry Potter room which was kinda cool.
But the corridor and the room smelt of damp and were very run down.
The room had seen better days and definitely needs a refurb. The bathroom had luke warm water at best and lacked shower pressure. The toilet barely flushed.
You had an AC control unit in the room but not able to actually adjust the temp of the room.
The location is good to visit things in Watford. But if the hotel wasn’t included in my price for the Harry Potter tour. I definitely wouldn’t have stayed here.
The breakfast that was included was extremely good though.
