Great Location and Friendly Staff – Worth the Stay

I stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by its central location. It’s close to everything — with plenty of shops and local restaurants on Western Road, just a 12-minute walk from Brighton Train Station, and around 10 minutes to the pier. The beach is literally a stone’s throw away, which was perfect.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent with a good selection of both Full English and Continental options. My room was basic but nicely decorated, and I appreciated having a fridge.

The only downsides were the thin walls and slightly creaky floorboards, which might bother light sleepers.

Overall, it was great value for the price I paid, and I’d happily stay again.

Found one of the reception staff impolite. Constantly was trying to correct me and arguing to be right () instead of focusing on the problem and realizing that I’m a customer. Eventually the issue was sorted. Room is okay but not very clean. Found hairs everywhere. When the windows are closed it smells like strong toilet dirty water. Due to location is noisy but I knew it will be. Was okay for one night.

I was very pleased with the rooms, breakfast, and overall professionalism. Having stayed at Queens bury the night before, I found the staff here to be exceptional in comparison amazingly polite, respectful, and attentive. The breakfast was also outstanding....it was full English breakfast....the only thing is I couldn't find the way properly....but the reception came up to help

I only wish I had booked this place for both nights. A truly excellent experience!

Stayed here for one nite room we was given was filthy dirty , so had to ask for a clean room. Second room bedding had lots of stains all over it quilt and pillows. If you want a good nite sleep go not book this hotel the noise was horrendous people playing music shouting talking very loud last heard it at 3am. Breakfast average . Would not stay here again

Clean, warm, lovely shower, quiet with a great breakfast. Bed was a touch too soft for us but that’s personal preference.
Definitely recommend for location! No parking but you can load and unload outside in a bay (thank you to the lovely lady on reception that helped us!)

Positive: check-in and cleanliness of the room and building. Women working at that are professional.Negative: breakfast and the girl working there… awful. I took a dirty fork, ao I decided to leave out from there. She was just whatsapping while we were having breakfast. When the others finished, she noticed the fork was out and put again with the other forks. Disgusting…Room is not so comfortable as it looks in the photos. Bad quality in everything, including breakfast.

Worst hotel experience. No parking available, which was fine at the end. But basic necessity a hotel should provide - drinking water no available. The floor of the room was so bad that my feet is completely black with dust. If they can’t provide water bottle in room atleast keep for sale in reception. How is it so difficult. The basic cleaning, necessity and standard of 3 star hotel is missing. Please save your money and don’t book this. Not worth it. Lastly the receptionist was the most rude human i came across. So all in all worst experience in terms of accommodation
