Can’t fault my stay here. The check-in process is smooth, very efficient and the rooms are very tidy and comfortable! I also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning - all of the staff were kind and friendly but one particular staff member (whose name I didn’t get) went above and beyond in providing a great service! He saw me looking at the waffle maker and immediately came to ask if I wanted a waffle. He made it immediately and brought it to the table, it was a lovely gesture which made my morning. Another positive is the proximity to the train station. Would definitely stay here again! You can get everything you need in the area.

We stayed for one night at Hampton in Croydon. The two ladies on reception were amazing and checked us in to our room on the 10th floor. ||The room itself was quite small but very workable for a night. It was very clean & had a nice smell upon entry. In your room you have a mini fridge, safe & some limited storage. Huge TV which was great. In the bathroom it was a shower only & this was very powerful. We loved the soaps & conditioners provided. ||Unfortunately this just leaves the bed, which for a huge brand like Hilton was quite disappointing. Think of a hospital bed, quite cheap and sounded like it had plastic covering on it the moment you got in to it. The beds are fairly firm, but extremely noisy. The bedding was also poor and felt plasticky & cheap. This also meant it got quite hot even with the air conditioning going. Premier Inn down the road beats this by miles with their beds and bedding. ||As a result we didn’t get the best nights sleep and for this reason we wouldn’t return, but are glad we tried it out. A big thank you to the reception staff and housekeepers who did an amazing job.

First time I've stayed in this hotel and what a lovely experience. ||The public areas are modern, clean and comfortable with a bar/dining room on the ground floor. The dining menu is varied/wide and, although not many 'healthy' options on offer, there is something for most tastes (including a kids menu and a 24-hour pizza menu).||My bedroom (815) was a corner room and so plenty of light with a wide view over Croydon (not the most picturesque but good to have a big view!) Facilities in the room were excellent for a lower price hotel - good sized walk-in shower with strong pressure, comfortable double bed (although pillows a little small), safe, ironing board, hair dryer, comfy chair, desk and chair etc etc (and loads of sockets including some USBs).||Although a little 'tired' in places, everything was very clean and modern - and the window opened. Hurray! I find it so much nicer to have some fresh air rather than relying on the air conditioning.||And the staff were delightful throughout the hotel. Very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.||At an average of £76/night, this hotel was excellent value and definitely a venue I will use again in the future.

Comfortable stay, pleasant customer service from Reception however the highlight of the stay was the breakfast where Mr Manoj from the team excel in expectations. Always one step ahead when it comes to ensuring customers start their day with a fantastic well catered breakfast. Mr Manoj, a great personnel from the Hampton team with very polite and friendly attitude. Been to many hotels but this guy surpasses customer service standards. Keep the good work Mr Manoj! ☺️

I really enjoyed my stay. I also experienced high quality service and sometimes you read a review about a place and things don’t tally up but most reviews mention Manoj and he was excellent he is a good representative for the Hotel. The breakfast was excellent and housekeeping good too. The hotel is close to Croydon Station so made it easy for a first timer to navigate and travel safely around London. I could arrive from the stadium after midnight or from club hopping and still walk a small distance from the train station. Safe and Clean

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Efficient check in with France, a spotless room - thank you to Daniela with space well utilised and decor carefully thought out.
First time I've received text messages from a hotel checking how my room was and highlighting if I need anything to make contact - thank you Garima.
Manoj was super helpful at breakfast and when we were checking out and definitely needs recognition and rewarding.
A lot of other hotels could learn a lot about hospitality and how to treat guests from this hotel.
Our first time in Croydon and due to how we were treated, we will return in the future.

Great hotel. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy. Great location near box park and lots of good restaurants nearby. Nearby car park is a bit expensive but secure. Manoj was the friendliest and most helpful barman and waiter I have ever experienced.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our three year old son really enjoyed his stay as did we! great breakfast too! ||Rooms were modern and clean. ||Really all you need for a good night's rest and it's also a very convenient location for us as we had a train connection at East Croydon
