We recently stayed for one night after going to a christening. We arrived at the hotel to free parking (bonus) entering the reception area we were greeted by a beautiful smell. Ginta gave us a warm welcome and her customer service was excellent. We stayed in a room in the garden wing. The building wasn’t pretty but the room was clean and welcoming. also had a lovely view of the garden , there was no air conditioning but there was a fan and the windows opened. |The evening meal was tasty and served hot. Although a slightly limited menu choice but the main restaurant was being refurbished. Breakfast was a full selection of cooked and continental. |All in all we had a very pleasant stay .

Just had a lovely night away here.
Main building gorgeous and a very warm welcome from reception. Garden rooms are housed in a very unattractive block, but get past the exterior and the rooms are lovely. Bedroom and bathroom spotless, as were all communal areas. Swimming pool etc a real bonus. Lunch, dinner and breakfast were all very good. Great choices, well cooked and lovely presentation.
All the staff were friendly but a special shout out to Amelia on reception, Paige behind the bar and Kaleb one of our servers in the evening...you are absolute stars. Hopefully we'll be back soon.

Reception friendly and helpful but a long walk to my room. Maps supplied!
Rooms dated and basic.
Ok food...tiny chicken burger and chips for room service. £29 and I asked for extra chips..
Meeting lunch...hardly enough food.
Don't come hungry as you will leave hungry

On arrival the hotel looks lovely… I would advise on upgrading to superior room as standard rooms are in a detached concrete block behind hotel… awful to look, filthy looking building. |Our room 401 was inside the main hotel building as I upgraded. Hotel very nice, but very dated and needs refurb. Very tired.|Drinks at bar were ok… but Guinness and lagers on tap were warm, saw lots of pints returned. My husband opted then for bottled beer from the fridge.|Had a meal included in our hotel stay, food I must say was superb. Pics attached. |Our room was nice again dated and really needed a good clean and refurb.|Spa facilites were good, sauna, steam room whirlpool and pool… very small but nice. |Breakfast was plentiful. Scrambled eggs bit hit and miss, tasted like powdered eggs!! |But overall nice quiet hotel to stay in but really does need a massive refurb, clean and updating!!!

Lovely location. Good staff who tried hard but with a prom one day and a wedding the next they were stretched to deal with ordinary guests. Room spotless though in a concrete block totally at odds with main building. Breakfast a bit chaotic. Dinner underwhelming. Worst thing was one drinks machine for entire hotel. Broke down twice and when working was not good. How hard is it to brew fresh tea or coffee? Pool good. Gardens lovely. Reception excellent.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here with friends; the staff are so friendly and helpful and food was delicious! We ate at the hotel both evenings and at lunch and had no complaints at all! |Our room was in the main hotel building but the bed was very small; we asked the following morning if there was any chance of moving rooms which the lady on reception was very helpful with and we were allowed to move rooms with a bigger bed; great service!|The terrace has plenty of rattan sofas, table and chairs to relax on and take in the open countryside! |Some parts of the hotel look quite tired but it’s evident to see they are trying hard to make it nice and improve it. |There is a pub about a 5 minute walk down the road which has a nice pub garden and offers good food! Would highly recommend!

Hotel has endless corridors to get to your room (or stables!) but reception do supply maps.|Reception friendly and customer focused.|Meeting lunch was barely enough food but no leftovers..|Room service dinner was like a child's meal for £29. |Rooms are fairly basic and forgettable |Cleaning to a good standard |May try and divert the company to a different venue next time as they do sometimes also get overwhelmed.
