We stayed two night in March 2025. The room was very clean and modern, with a large tv. Location is great for the Excel.|Breakfast was a lovely buffet.|My only issue was that there was no wardrobe or drawers, so nowhere to put your belongings. There were a few funky Perspex shelves sticking out of the walls but they were mostly on a slope. We lost a cup of tea and a glass of water to their lean! So again nowhere even to put your cup of tea by your bed without a disaster.

Despite how I rated every aspect. I am giving it a 5 star, because of the service. Rooms get cleaned, they are respectable about the property, and service from staff is pretty good, the manager especially. 🙂

For location? Unless you are going to excel? I suggest getting the tube and try out new places.

The only two things I would say about the room? I wish the main tables were bigger, and I wish you had the ability to plug other things into an HDMI port, but you get what you are paid for.

Anyway I would recommend this place, although I can't guarantee the experience is the same.

Although come in and try out a few nights.

Trendy hotel with easy parking. Air Conditioning I could not lower as it's controlled centrally apparently and only blows out hot air, not a lot of good when you're trying to sleep and you're hot. Shower was okay but water would not drain away so limited shower time.||Bed was nice a comfy and good TV and reasonable speed on WiFi.||Breakfast was very poor! Cold food under heated lamps, no pastries, no Greek yogurt, no honey, no rolls, no bread, coffee from machines, quite disappointed to be honest. ||Overall, staff were good but struggled as there were times when they were trying to serve at the bar and register guests, in my opinion they were understaffed. ||Hotel is is an ideal location for the Excel and had a general good vibe but let down but food and drink options.

Tyrone at reception is a great guy and really tried his best to accommodate during my stay and the location is decent. Although I would struggle to find any other positive in all honesty. The 3 🌟 only represents the staff not the hotel or it's facilities.

There was only 1 working socket between the two rooms and it wasn't near the bed or any desk. There was a strange shaver socket which would requure a converter/adapter to utilise it next to the bed, and the remaining sockets didn't work except 1.

I am surprised this hotel is part of the Mariott brand because I wouldn't assume that at all. Especially having stayed in various Mariott hotels globally as well in the UK.

Sadly won't be booking again and marking it down as a lesson learnt.

Stayed for one night as we had an event the next day at the Excel centre. Was given a voucher for a free house cocktail which was great. Food was also lovely. The room was stylish and the beds very comfortable. Will definitely stay again if we have another event coming up.

Absolutely awful service here. We told the staff we have parked and at no point did they mention we need to pay. We have now been told at checkout that we’ll be receiving a parking ticket. Staff weren’t apologetic at all and really didn’t care. Would never come here again or recommend this hotel to anyone

Adi was incredibly gracious and hospitable, fantastic customer service and had all the patience in the world. It was my first time staying at Moxy and I will 100% book again. The rooms are comfortable, but the service from staff is what makes this from a simple overnight stay for a London trip, to a luxury and self-indulging experience - on a budget! Thank you Adi and team!

It was my second time staying here and it was really easy to check-in and getting breakfast at 6am was perfect. Only thing is that it took a while for the cast tv to connect to our room. But loved the stay as usual!
