Lovely little touch in the bedroom for the children when we arrived.

We stayed at this premier inn for only 12hrs but our stay was faultless.
A perfect spot when travelling back from France.
Check in at any time as a QR code is given. Breakfast was easy to add on too in the morning.
Parking is £7.50 for 24hrs but do remember to get a voucher code from the little stand in reception.

Absolutely amazing stop on our way. We came last weekend afternoon. Kids was tired, but been greated with treats at the reception. Lovely lady offered sweets. All the tiredness was disappeared 😅 we was checked in very smooth, room was very good size,clean and fresh.beds was very comfy. We had a breakfast in the morning,it was delicious with plenty of choice. The car park on site huge,close by retail park.|It was lovely service in this hotel. Definitely will be back

We’ve been long-time visitors to this hotel, and sadly had to leave a negative review a while back due to a serious drop in standards. It had really gone downhill, and as a family with small children, the experience was horrendous. We ended up taking a break and staying elsewhere for quite some time.||That said, the hotel was quite decent before things went wrong, so we decided to give it another chance recently and we’re glad we did. We’ve now stayed here twice in the last few months and both visits were genuinely very good. It feels like there’s been a real effort to turn things around, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Staff were pleasant, the rooms were in far better condition, and overall the atmosphere was much more welcoming.||One thing to be aware of, though rooms aren’t cleaned daily as standard anymore. You have to request housekeeping before 12 noon if you want your room serviced. A little frustrating, especially with kids (nappies), as it used to be automatic. Although, when we did request a clean, it was done properly and without issue.||My main issue is the extortionate parking fee. £7.50 per night is honestly outrageous. This isn’t a city centre hotel or anywhere near an airport, so charging that much just to park is excessive especially when you’re staying for multiple nights. We ended up paying £22.50 for a 3-night stay on top of our room rate. It feels like an unnecessary add-on, and it’s something management really need to reconsider. Perhaps at the very least introduce a cap or discounted rate for longer stays? For comparison, the Ibis just around the corner offers free parking and I imagine more and more people will be swayed in that direction if this continues.||All in all, though, it’s been great to see the hotel improving again. We’ve had two enjoyable, comfortable stays recently and would now consider it again for future visits – but the parking policy is definitely something to think about before booking.

Shame that the front desk isn’t manned all the time. I had to wait a while after ringing the bell for someone to come out and check us in. And when someone did come, they looked so unhappy. I’m not sure if something had happened before we got there or if they just heard from angering news but my god… I did not want to piss her off even more. ||||We did ask for early check in which was fine, however…. It used to be £10 to have an early check which I know because I always do it but this time it has gone up to £15! Thought that was rather cheeky to up it to that much. Hotels are expensive enough as it is. But now they want an extra £15 for arriving an hour or two early. ||||I am still absolutely outraged that we have to pay for the parking. Hotels are expensive enough without the added cost of parking. Parking should be free to those staying overnight. ||||The employees never seem to be happy. I have stayed at the premier inn quite a bit and everyone who works there is either always having a bad day or that’s the way you like to portray your employees. A smile doesn’t cost anything and neither does having a friendly face. ||||Room was nice and cool when we first entered. I still had to put on a fan which I had bought with me from home as I know the rooms get really hot. I woke up sweating that it was that hot in there. ||||The breakfast is nice. Nothing outstanding about it but the food is nice, they never have much juice or bread. It’s the woman who takes your payment and clears the tables that you want to be wary of… she will stare you down as she walk by. Actually made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.

Staff were amazing, very polite, helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was fantastic and a great price, it was all you can eat buffet style and kids ate for free. Excellent price for the room as well. ||Car park was only £7 for 24 hrs. ||Hotel is located right by a huge shopping centre too.

Hotel suitable for what we needed but do not expect any service, food or drinks in the so called restaurant. There is little air con, the room was stifling hot and this is after the hot weather so it wasn't that. We will stay again due to working in London but we will bring our own fan, beer & food !!!

Very friendly hotel. Staff very polite, give you all information you might need. The rooms very clean,there is ac and extra pillows in the room. We had a dinner in restaurant,waitress very friendly. Breakfast with lots of choice. Car park on site,very close to retail park

The experience itself with the rooms were fine, However beware of the restaurant, On Saturday 19th April, I asked about cocktails and they had run out of the one i wanted, I instead asked for a Gin and Tonic not only did they not offer me a deal they doubled my shot without asking me, I Never asked for a double and didn't tell me until afterwards when it was on the bill. I felt a bit set up to pay more than i wanted being not given the option of a single shot. It made my wife not feel good after due to the double shot,
If I had ordered a drink to stay under driving limit this could have been a serious problem luckily we weren't. I won't be going to a premier inn restaurant ever again, unless they refund me the difference, because they refused to reduce the bill despite getting my drink order wrong and sending me over budget,
