Brilliant location in the city centre and within walking distance to the cruise terminal. Room was well designed with the 2nd bed in the loft space. More than just a hotel with the kitchen and all the cooking utensils. Loved the small details such as fresh milk. Recommended.

This hotel (or hometel) is in a good location. The rooms have nice beds, bathrooms and small kitchen areas with cooktops/microwaves. Good for a city break and there are lots of decent restaurants within walking distance. The cafe on the ground floor has nice selection of drinks, both alcoholic or not

I really cannot fault this hotel. Beautifully designed, funky and functional room, with an amazingly comfortable bed. Fantastic bathroom with a powerful shower and really nice products. Well equipped kitchenette with everything you need for preparing drinks and snacks. Great view over Queen’s Park and very handy for the city centre. Very high-quality and perfectly prepared breakfast. Brilliant, friendly, and superbly helpful and attentive staff. If I could give a 10 star rating, I would. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Southampton.

The hotel is amazing and the staff is such a pleasure... Everything was clean, updated and well appointed. The staff led by Reece was so lovely, accommodating and kind. I would recommend this hotel for families and singles as well. It's near the park, restaurant, bars and all that is needed in the area. The restaurant food was delicious.

Had a two night stay in a family room. Holiday for me and my son, Business trip for my husband. Sadly our view was over residential premises with a stained mattress and bedding in a garden! Great location for the town centre and cruise terminals. Limited on site parking at extra cost. My son loved the family room with loft bed. Small budget hotel ideal for a short stay in Southampton. The gym was out of action. The breakfast service is quite slow so no good if you are there on business and want a breakfast before dashing out. My husband had to leave at 7 am for meetings and breakfast didn’t start til 7.30. Double check the check out time. The information in our room said 2pm, but when I asked they said it was 12 noon. The manager Reese said we could have til 2, so that was helpful. The staff were very nice but seemed very laid back and go at their own pace! Beware when out in Southampton, be streetwise, lots of groups of men hanging around! I didn’t feel that safe, wouldn’t have ventured out at night on my own.

booked through peppa pig world . hotel room wasn’t good for children as the steps to the top bed was dangerous for my child to go up which meant there was 4 people in the bed. says king bed but it’s definitely just standard double. the duvet was supper thick and it was 20 degrees the day we went. the top bed has bits on the bed from the ceiling . walls was dirty . bathroom was dirty , shower door was off the hinges. didn’t realise had to pay or prebook parking which was £13 a night however we parked on the street right outside the doors and saved £6. breakfast was well there’s no words . the way it’s presented and described online was nothing compared to what was served. absolutely horrendous!!! me and my partner has a full breakfast , £16 pp , i would of rather gone to greggs for what we was served. my children asked for toast , they was given bread. i then asked for cereal and they wanted me to pay £6.50 and all it was was a box out of a multipack. absolutely disgusting. will not be coming back here! if you want a family friendly hotel book somewhere else

I would not recommend it. For starters, it is not possible to get in touch with the hotel via phone, making it complicated to find out how to reach the car parking, etc. The hotel is nicely decorated and well located, and the room is well-equipped. However, in my room, the mattress was so stiff that I could feel the springs. I was not able to sleep until I requested an extra duvet so I could fold it and sleep on top of it.

Another big issue is the size of the gym—it's only equipped with one Peloton bike and weights. While it's enough for a good workout, it's really only suitable for one person at a time. If someone else is using the bike while you're lifting weights, it becomes very uncomfortable.

The staff was nice and helpful.

We popped in for a coffee and because the service was so good we stayed for more drinks. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. |The bar has been refurbished and much improved.|An excellent venue for Southampton. A fantastic view over Queens Park. A delight.
