ITS NOT A HOTEL. DO NOT BOOK. ITS A IMMAGRATION PLACE FOR ALL THE PPL WHO JUST CAME OF THE BOAT. THE BED HAD BUGS AND ALL THE FOOD WAS LIKE COLD. WHEN I ASKED TO WARM UP MY FOOD THEY SAID THEY DONT HAVE A MICROWAVE. STAY AWAY ITS NOT WORTH A PENNY i WOULD HAVE STAYED IN MY CAR RATHER THEN GO THERE.

This says holiday inn and the manager and security mentioned this is not and does not belong to holiday inn anymore!! ||||Please do not book as service is very poor and despite being ihg rewards and having a valid holiday inn booking at another location, we are not allowed to enter the premises saying that this place has been bought over by a private client! ||||Scam to put holiday inn brand and a throw of ihg branding!

Unfortunately, this does NOT relate to a recent stay,.. Due to the simple fact,|that we’ve being trying to book into this, previously rated, 4 star hotel for the past 4 years. This hotel was our favourite, London Heathrow airport accommodation. My husband, myself, family members and friends stayed here regularly, before flying out of Heathrow airport. It is one of the best and more conveniently, located hotels. It’s just off the M4. Ideal, if you’re not used to, driving in the busy London traffic. On our last stay, the hotel had been recently, renovated and was looking really lovely.|We’ve actually taken a few detours past there, to see what the issue is. |The carpark is always full. But there are also, lots and lots of bikes, just outside the reception doors. The shuttle bus calls at the hotel, but not to collect guests, because the hotel still NOT taking books. |It looks like this previously, lovely 4 star hotel, is being used by the Government for accommodation purposes.

Went to get our rental car from the green motion location onsite here and were met at the door by rude blunt men in turbans shouting something that didnt sound like english. Got sent thru the rain, in the dark of night to a back alley to find our rental car. What a freaky experience! Should be a minus option for star ratings.

I had a an opportunity to visit some of my friends for a long weekend reunion and found this hotel's location and access to the Airport, the motorways and with nice restraunts and very good service all at my convenience.

Better still I experienced first class service and hospitality as soon as I checked in, I found all staff and management, extremely helpful and polite during the whole of my stay.

My room and all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and tidy, very comfortable and relaxing, I also had a sizeable breakfast of good variety, clear messages sanitisers and information for the COVID-19 virus prevention and social spacing clearly marked in all parts of the Hotel. I found the Gym very much a convenience for my daily exercise, the car park spaces were very clearly marked and plentiful, information about COVID-19 were visual at the point of entry to the reception. I would definitely use this hotel again as I felt they had gone to a lot of trouble in customer care and to help me feel at ease and safe about preventing the virus spreading. I would also recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The lobby/restaurant was lovely, modern and clean. Our evening meal was delicious and the staff were friendly.

Our room was a bit worn and could do with modernising. The leather had worn away from the desk chair, silicone around the bath was mouldy and worn which made it feel less clean.

We ordered room service breakfast (offered to assist with social distancing), we were given a form to fill out for our order and there was a good selection to chose from. Unfortunately when it arrived to our room the cooked breakfast was only warm, the hash browns were undercooked and cold.

The beds were not overly comfortable, however the hotel was nice a quiet, no external noise disturbance or from other guests. It was a nice stay, pretty average room.

Having visited many IHG Holiday Inn Hotels, the atmosphere and lighting at this hotel is fantastic, nice warm welcoming, feels like home, love the open space design, doesn't feel your trapped. Great welcome from reception, easy check-in, love being a IHG member!

Room Positives:

Room is of a good standard, very comfortable beds, love the pillows, with adjustable soft/hardness by flipping them over. Bathroom was very clean, lovely nice hot shower, with towels and shampoo/soap provided. Bright lighting, modern feel, nice large tv to relax.

Room Negatives:

HEATING: Since we got in quite late at night, the first thing we wanted was heating. In 5 degree Celsius weather I'd love to come to the hotel room, drop everything in a nice warm room, but unfortunately the room heating function is disabled (i'm guessing across the entire floor for all rooms) so air conditioning was the only one enabled. We asked for a heater when we walked through reception, which they were more than happy to sort out, only to be rang by reception later to be told they have no heaters. For a hotel of this size it's essential, whether they had enough of them i'm not sure. They did offer us a change of room, but since we already were in bed, showered and relaxed and all our things unpacked, there was no point moving for 1 night so we managed

MILK: No milk was provided for the coffee making facility, so we just didn't use it, only works out if you like black coffee

BATHROOM TAP: It's not a defect as such as water does come out from it, but it splatters everywhere, not sure if it has some type of water saving device, but literally if you put it on medium/high setting and stand near the basin, it wet's your clothes - not good if you've just put a suit on!

WINDOW SHUTTERS: In previous hotels, I loved the fact that you can just close a curtain to shut out the light, however this room had four big wooden panels, they were very hard to shut, and hard to open, I'm not sure if they are de-railed, but something simple like a set of curtains would be nice or if it was easier to open/close.

As a IHG Club Member our room was upgraded.

Very pleased with the room - Clean, Tidy & Comfortable; with additional complimentary items as well. (just that little bit extra goes a long way from making a good stay into a great one)

Hotel great for (Pre / Post) Flight stay's, as there is a bus every 20 min's to/fro the airport. Also Long-term parking is competitive, if you include a hotel stay as well.

Restaurant was good at the hotel but we opted to eat out this time as there is a very good gastro-pub 100 yards (to the left "The Plough"), just outside the main gate.

Breakfast at the hotel is a buffet arrangement with a very good selection of anything you may want. I do recommend this especially after a long flight in the previous evening, or to 'set-you-up' for the day before a flight.

The bar at the hotel had a good atmosphere & a nice selection of beers & wines at reasonable prices.

We didn't use the pool or gym this time, but have done on previous occasions. They are both kept to a good standard & really great if you check-in early & have the time to relax.

I must say that the staff throughout the hotel are welcoming, helpful & very attentive to everyone.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone & those with family's who are traveling; it would be on my 1st choice.
