Our private room was so affordable and in a perfect location, I was a bit weary as to how good it was, almost too good to be true! However it was perfectly suited to what we needed. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Spacious room. Very simple and quite old-fashioned, but it was all we needed. Very clean. Will definitely be returning next time we come to London on a weekend city-break!!

I have to say that Patrick is a very nice and kind person. Even though we will not be staying in his hostel, he has made sure we finally got a nice place to stay in the same area. Even though he was in hospital for a few days he still took the time to sort the situation out. Good communication and kindness. Thanks a million Patrick!

I was there in January. I saw a mouse in the breakfast table, it was disgusting.
I was with some friends, and they sent us to another hotel, cause a big group of guests was trying to stay there and they needed our room. So, our reservation wasn,t respected.

We cannot rate this property as we did not get to stay! Arrived in the afternoon only to be told by young guests, sitting out the front, that the hostel was fully booked. No rooms available. Why? Simply because it had been totally booked out by an American school group. They were staying for quite some time. Thank goodness one of the girls rang the host for us because we didn’t have a working phone. We were told we had been booked into a hotel around the corner. It would have been nice to have been told this in advance especially since I had reconfirmed, via email, the day before as originally requested. We were to pay the same money and had been upgraded to a full breakfast rather than a continental one. On reflection, the hotel we had been booked into was probably better but that’s not really the point.

My daughter booked this accomodation months in advance and was due to arrive on 28/7/24. They recently cancelled her booking because they had taken on an educational project. As it’s only a few weeks out from her stay she’s had to find alternative accommodation which have now skyrocketed in price. I’ve had to transfer her some extra money to pay for new accommodation. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

I had my booking with them booked for over a year. I needed to change my check out day for a day earlier & tried to contact them 5-6 times via the email the provided on hostel world & on google to no avail.

I decided to call them from Australia & was told it was too early in the morning for them (approx 6:30am) and to email them. I said the reason why I’m calling is because no one seems to get back to my emails but I was assured that someone would get in touch.

Sure enough, no one returned my email. So I thought bugger it I’ll tell them when I arrive we’re leaving a day earlier.

It’s now mid June & my booking was booked for the 28th of July. They’ve decided to email me about 6 weeks out and advise me my booking has been canceled as they’ve taken on another booking as it was affiliated with an educational program.

London at the best of times is expensive, hence why I booked so far in advance. But to cancel someone’s booking 6 weeks out, is appalling.

I now have to pay between 3-4 times more than what I originally budgeted for because of this company’s money hungry ways.

Save yourselves the hassle and don’t bother booking with this unprofessional, greedy business.

Fabulous 3 day stay here. Exceptional value for money when compared to private rooms in other hostels. Excellent location, lovely staff, breakfast included. Can't ask for more given the price you pay. Yes it is an older property but I would absolutely recommend it.

Was very sceptical about this as never stayed in one before but we were met a thecdoor quickly booked in then was shown the dining room and told about breakfast which we didn't use as we are vegan however we could have easily of got our own pb milk. Our room was clean, beds extremely comfortable a wardrobe, big fan, fridge and air purifier. The toilets and showers were on the landing. ||||Great central location.||||I would definitely stay again.
