We had the best Christmas dinner at the Kitchen. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for looking after us so well. Particular mention goes to Wallace who was super friendly and took the time to make sure everything was perfect for us, without being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was elegant but relaxed and we felt totally comfortable. Thank you all for making our Christmas Day so special

Amazing calamari and cod dish. Perfectly cooked. Cannot fault it! The vegan cheesecake was nice, clearly some thought has been given to the dessert as it is not just a token vegan option. Wouldn’t recommend the pizza, it was fine - but when there are other amazing options, it fell short.

The team at The Kitchen at Chewton Glen are a real credit to the business. Despite dining alone, the team made me feel welcome and comfortable from the moment I arrived. The Penang mussels special was absolutely amazing - the sweetest, plumpest most perfectly cooked shellfish. Easily the best I have ever eaten in the UK. The main course of skate wing was a little bit of a letdown after such an epic starter. The fish lacked seasoning, and I think you should remove the pips from the lemon before serving, otherwise they end up all over your food. Overall a fabulous meal and I would return for the mussels every day if I could!

The loveliest lunch we have had in a very long time. The staff were so accommodating when we turned up with a toddler who we hadn’t booked for. They quickly found a bigger table and made a place setting with a menu, children’s plate and cutlery and cup and straw. The service, food, ambience was all phenomenal and we could not be more grateful to you for making our birthday celebration such a happy one! Thank you!
