Darren is a fantastic personal trainer. He has so much knowledge and experience, plus great ideas and insight on weight loss and tracking calories etc. My technique and form has improved so much since going to Darren as he explains it all clearly and that’s really helpful.

Recently contacted Darren and after a short friendly consultation, I chose the 4 week programme. The sessions were very enjoyable, Darren is extremely professional, friendly and knowledgable. The sessions were 1 to 1 including nutritional advice and tracking. The whole service was very professional and I'm extremely happy with what we were able to achieve in that time. Can't recommend Darren's service especially enough!

Darren’s 6 week Sunday morning boot camp has been excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed every week, despite some pretty awful weather on occasions. Each session was completely different and I loved the remote venues. I felt encouraged and supported to push myself but if I couldn’t do something, I wasn’t made to feel a failure. I’ve definitely improved my fitness and strength during the 6 weeks.

Darren and Lorna are brilliant instructors and the rest of the class were so friendly. I can’t wait until the spring when I can do it all again!

Darren’s knowledge around nutrition & training is amazing. He’s calm, informative and super friendly. I’ve had PT sessions with him & they were always structured & enjoyable.

I recently took part in the
ā€˜Summer boot camp’ with Darren & Lorna which have taken place over six Sundays in various locations,
they have been brilliant with a variety of exercises & equipment in an outdoor setting.

I will miss not getting up at 7am on the weekends until the next one!

I highly recommend Darren at New Fitness & nutrition. I had PT sessions for 3 months. He was supportive and I never felt judged or uncomfortable like I have done in gyms in the past. Each session Darren had planned a different workout with different exercises. The sessions were great and I saw improvements over the few months. I'll definitely be back and look forward to Bootcamp

I worked with Darren for several months whilst rehabing a shoulder injury and getting my strength back on track. He designed the programme to meet my exact needs and worked at exactly the right pace for me. His knowledge and interest in all things fitness and nutrition is impressive and I really appreciate the way he tailored training to my needs, week on week. My shoulder is stronger than its been in years and I have gained so much knowledge about correct technique for weight training that has help me massively. I've done a lot of training over the years and had a pretty good level of fitness understanding, but working 1:1 with Darren made a signifcant difference in terms of meeting my fitness goals. I would highly recommend Darren to anyone looking to improve their overall health. He is passionate about health and wellness and his broad knowledge and holistic approach helped me massively.

Darren is not only really knowledgeable and experienced, but he makes you feel so comfortable in his company whilst also adding a much welcome dose of fun to the sessions. I'd highly recommend Darren for PT, nutrition advice as well as his bootcamps that he runs with Lorna, his partner and PT/kettlebell class owner!
