Fantastic place to visit near Falmouth. So many rescue donkeys here in barns or out enjoying the sun in the paddocks. They are off all ages from ten days old to 60+ years of ago. We called in to Lidl on the way and picked up three bags of carrots to donate. 😀

We stumbled across Flicka accidentally whilst looking for dog-friendly things to do in the area, we were actually on our way to the seal sanctuary so this was the start of a great day! Couldn't believe Flicka foundation has no entry free and runs on donations alone! The donkeys are well cared for and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, our dog even had a lovely time interacting with some of the more interested donkeys. We also got to see a 5 day old foal. It was a delight to visit and we left purchasing gifts from the shop and giving a donation also.

What a wonderful place. Fantastic to see all these beautiful animals getting the treatment they deserve. Free to enter, they do have contribution boxes, but absolutely no pressure. We left money, because you can't help admire the work this sanctuary do.

Lovely place, and the donkeys are well looked after. The staff are lovely and the tutorial about the donkeys is well spoken from the member of staff. I will definitely go again. Cafe is clean and staff lovely, just a bit disappointed that there was only vegan milk as it doesn't suit me so couldn't have a coffee!

These donkeys have had such a hard life and now they're here they are loved and cared for. I can't explain why but whenever we come here it is peaceful and it relaxes you. The coffee and cake is also fantastic in the cafe. Please support this wonderful charity.

The Flicka Foundation is a fabulous sanctuary for donkeys, many of whom have such sad stories to tell before they found refuge at Flicka. The donkeys (ponies and Shetland ponies) are all lovingly cared for and are adored by the amazing staff. It’s a wonderful place to visit, such a good cause and every donation really does count. My husband recently adopted a donkey for me for my birthday so now we have a reason (not that we really needed one!) to visit regularly. The Flicka Foundation is a very special place and should be supported wholeheartedly!

What an incredible place, with such an amazing story! AND ITS FREE!!!
Well worth an afternoon, seeing the many different varieties of Donkey there were, and hearing the passion everyone working there had for the Donkeys and making sure they lived their best life. Was really nice to see the pony's too. Can't wait to come back and see what has changed
