My partner and I attended the Penzence Language School for 6 weeks to improve our knowledge of English. We knew that our different educational level would be a challenge for the school.
Training concept: Flexible in level, tempo and training times.
Fast learning success based on a small group.
Homework has been recommended and has significantly accelerated our learning success.
Work was done with classic training books. A large selection of supporting audio tapes was provided free of charge.
At the end of the week we enjoyed to have tea or coffee in a relaxed atmosphere offered by David after the lessons. Here we got so many tips to visit sights over weekend.
Course leader: The long-term experience in the training of young people and adults was always noticeable and gave us the necessary security.
Jennis pronounced sense of humor has made the English lessons sooo much easier.
Cost: Compared to other schools, the Penzance English Courses teaching time is surprisingly low.
Schoolbooks are either free of charge, or can be purchased at the[ library] bookshop.
Excursions: The Penzance English Courses organized excursions for us into a local museum, a political discussion, tea with a British lady and an evening of music and Dickens readings in Pendeen.
Penzence: Penzence is a cozy small town with lots of charm. Even with longer stays it is never boring. Especially about the nearby sea and the abundant excursion destinations sights. The climate is mild and pleasantly warm even in winter.

Summary: We have made significant progress within 6 weeks and we have been massively increased in language and writing security. The school found elegant solutions for the aggravating circumstance that my partner and I had to be trained on different levels. We can recommend this school at any time and circumstances! Would not recommend Sarah Lane as a person to educate young people or anyone based on my experiences with her! A very patronising and self entitled individual.
