I’d never heard of CrossFit and didn’t know it was a ‘thing’ before starting in May this year! I was looking for something to increase my strength and fitness which I could fit around work and family, and a friend recommended it.
As a 57-year-old woman with almost no gym experience of any kind, it could have been very intimidating. But from day one, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and supportive. The coaches are brilliant, constantly supportive and very professional, adapting the workout to your level, pushing you but never pushy. I enjoy the variety of the sessions and constantly learning and improving. I appreciate that everyone is included and encouraged by both coaches and members, whatever their ability. In just a few months, I’m stronger, fitter and happier and looking forward to see how much more I can improve this coming year. Thank you CrossFit Penzance!

I moved CrossFit Gyms when I moved back to Penzance and the difference here is absolutely black & white, the Coaches are fantastic, the guy who runs it is brilliant, he really takes the time to make you feel welcome and always checks in with everyone! I would really recommend this place if you’re new to training or if you’re over a certain age you could pop in to the legends classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they really are catering for everyone! I'd always thought CrossFit was for young, super fit people but at CrossFit Penzance I discovered everything is scalable and it really is for everyone, no matter your age, strength, fitness or ability. CrossFit Penzance really make sure you are comfortable and I never feel self conscious as everyone is adjusting the work out in different ways so I never feel like I'm standing out for having to do the easier options. I particularly like their emphasis on learning correct technique. CrossFit Penzance has a hugely supportive atmosphere no matter where you are on your fitness journey or what your goals are. I'd definitely recommend!

A crossfit box like no other! It provides the best coaching around, has a really welcoming atmosphere and you can train exactly to suit your needs with no pressure or expectation to be like anyone else. CFPZ provides a space where you can enjoy your training for leisure, social or competative goals and offers a number of classes to suit everyone's needs. Forever grateful for this place and I highly recommend them if you're thinking of joining or visiting. The best in the buisness!

My partner and I joined this gym when we moved to Penzance in June. We’d never done CrossFit before and were nervous joining a new gym having just moved to Cornwall from London. The staff and members here are all so welcoming and encouraging - it’s a really positive and motivating atmosphere. Workouts are challenging, varied and they offer lots of alternatives depending on your ability/experience/injuries. It’s reasonably priced considering the size of the space, quality of instruction and top-spec equipment. There are lots of different class timings too. In summary, it’s a really inclusive place to try something new or develop your CrossFit skills. Highly recommended - bravo!

Very friendly and professional club, you will feel welcome here from day 1 and make many new friends. All levels of fitness interacting with each other and encourage you to achieve your aims. As a beginner level I was guided and surely have some laughs along the way.
Great community club, highly recommend!
