Excellent. Our little Dexter is a Romanian rescue puppy and, not surprisingly, quite nervous. Nothing but praise for this school. Dexter will be returning for more training.

On, 5th April, Dexter celebrated his 1st birthday by collecting his Bronze Award. He’s still a work in progress but he has come on so much since he started at ‘school’ here. In the home, he will sit, stay, leave and recall with the aid of a whistle and he is learning to walk to heel. Some people said to me initially that a Romanian rescue pup would struggle to learn these things but, with Sally’s help, Dexter has proved this to be untrue.

The best dog training you’ll ever find.

I’ve had terriers all my life but very soon after getting Albert, our Lakeland puppy, we knew he’d had a very traumatic start to his life.He was so anxious, very nervous and as he grew this displayed itself in ankle biting to anyone except myself and my partner who he adores. I’d been living in London and tried 3 different trainers with differing methods but none of them helped. We moved to Cornwall last year and after one bad incident I was determined to get help. Luckily I chose the Cornish Dog School and from the moment I spoke to Sally on the phone she ‘got’ Albert. She knew him before they met. I can only call just 6 classes as utterly transformative. Albert soon trusted Sally and enjoyed learning and homework. My partner and I learnt so much about how to be with your dog. I understand a dog’s mind as I never had. And the difference is amazing, all three of us are so much more relaxed, happy and able to enjoy beautiful Cornwall. I can’t thank Sally enough. She is a truly gifted trainer and I would recommend the Cornish Dog School wholeheartedly.

Absolutely amazing !! After struggling with a number of different trainers I found Sally and asked for help. The intensive training we had changed the behaviours of my dog and myself which allowed me to actually enjoy taking him for a walk. Before that it was constant pulling and never a relaxing walk. The socialising with other dogs in further group training was extremely good and continues to benefit us to this day. I can’t praise Sally and the Cornish Dog School highly enough, simply excellent !

We found the silver training gentle and my puppy responded well and has learnt to sit, stay and understands what I ask of him.He enjoyed the sessions so much and we are hoping to enrol on the next course. The trainer is very understanding of dogs of all breeds and ages. Both myself and my puppy felt comfortable.

Friendly and welcoming trainer who is amazing with dogs of all shapes and sizes!

My dog has come along leaps and bounds during the bronze course and we have enrolled onto the silver to continue! He is a large, stubborn 4 year old and even he has actually started listening to me.

I have taken my dog Molly to Cornish Dog School from a puppy.We have enjoyed puppy classes and further bronze and silver obedience work We . have felt safe and learned new skills and both Molly and I really gained in confidence ,on and off lead work .Sally is a skilled and informative teacher ,she makes learning fun.I have learned a lot here about being a responsible dog owner .
