I booked a hack for myself and my 12 year old son for a treat on our holiday. On arrival we were assigned our horses and were greeted by a really friendly team who helped us mount. We were then taken out on our hack with Jane, I have to say that Jane's horses are the best that I have ridden, they were perfectly behaved, easy to ride and you can tell that they have been schooled to an exceptional standard. The trail that we followed on site was absolutely stunning and you can really tell that Jane has invested in her land. We passed the Lake, then meandered past the Eucalyptus trees and with the sun shining on us we could have been in Australia!! Jane was so friendly and we chatted about the various trees and she kept us entertained with information and stories about the horses we were riding. My son, who is a keen rider absolutely loved this. As we climbed higher the views just got more and more beautiful. This is hands down the best hack I have ever been on and I am talking bucket list stuff, it was just breathtaking and just absolutely perfect. If you are thinking of booking, do it!! We ride but no matter your ability I can guarantee that you will love it!! Thank you so much Jane, we cannot wait to return.

Been riding at Polmartin for several years now and absolutely love it. So many gorgeous tracks without any need to go on the road and stunning horses!! Just an amazing place and a wonderful place to ride.

Fabulous place to learn to ride safely. The horses are extremely well cared for. Jane and Eric are kind and helpful and have lots of experience. Thank you for teaching my daughters to ride.

Fantastic riding school. All the staff make you feel so welcomed and part of the family. My son absolutely loves Jane and her teaching style. All of the horses are so well looked after and happy. Would highly recommend for any type of rider. The whole family looks forward to enjoying a family ride as we have been doing for years and many more to come. Safety is always number 1 responsibility which is so lovely to see as at other places this is very lacking!

My daughters have been riding at Polmartin every week for the last 4 years. Jane has a wealth of knowledge and having ridden and had horses myself many years ago she has taught me so much that I never knew or was taught as a child. The skills and confidence Jane and the team have instilled in my girls is invaluable. They are confident, resilient riders thanks to Jane and the team at Polmartin. Jane is a passionate character who cares deeply about the safety and welfare of both rider and horse. You will learn so much by riding with Jane and the team, be open to learn and be humble- you will be a better rider because of it. Enjoy!

I have been going to Polmartin Riding since August 24.
I can not praise Jane and all her team enough. Riding at Polmartin is the highlight of my week, every week!
I started as a complete novice. I was nervous and anxious to start. Jane was super supportive and encouraging. With Jane and her team support, teaching and honest constructive feedback I have become more and more confident and my riding as only got better and better!
The views around the school are breathtaking and you never leave the safety of Jane's land! She has built a lovely place for the enjoyment of all of those who visit Polmartin.

Excellent team and amazing horses!
I took my daughter here whilst on holiday for a lesson which was first-class! The instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable. The horses and ponies are so well looked after and were a joy to ride. I wish we lived here so we could ride here regularly! I highly recommend this stables and can't wait to return on my next visit to Cornwall.

Our daughter had a riding lesson today with Jane who was absolutely brilliant and taught our daughter (and us) so much.
