From the moment we approached the building, I knew it was going to be a good experience. From the cheerful, smiling workmen maintaining the front of the building to the warm welcome from the receptionists and being in a place that contained such rich history, it felt good.
Being a drop out dance and drama student from the mid '80's, it was wonderful to see the students going about their day, without the "Fame" element; everyone I came across seemed so level headed. Wonderful staff and a great day was had by all.

Studying MA applied theatre. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Specifically "Whatever shines is not gold!". They are supposed to teach us how to engage with communities and do theatre, but they are themselves trapped in their privileged world. They are obsessed with fundings and how to advertise their projects. Not authentic at all. They are supposed to find us placements in every term, and we had to send all the time emails and visiting the placement office in order to do our placements cause they wouldn't find placements for us. They didn't even have people working full-time in the placement office until february. They talk about ethics, while in the time of corona-virus they were sending as a university to all the students an email saying that there is not confirmed case of corona-virus, so that the university keeps on working, while there had been no tests to the students so how did they know that there was no case? And in my MA there was a student with asthma...high risk...Especially if you are Eu or International student, do not go there!

Studied my MA here. I am not an international student, but help for international students on our course was sub-par. The second anyone begins to struggle there is a very unveiled impression that you don't belong at the school. Once the school receives your money you’re a ghost to them. (*edit - also just discovered that for graduation you don't even get one complimentary ticket for a partner or family member. RCSSD will squeeze every penny out of you that they can, 'til the second you're off their books)

Socially and morally irresponsible organisation. Seriously steer clear. They charge £40 to send self-tapes in and then you hear nothing at all. How do we even know they look at them? Thoroughly unprofessional set- up. Impossible to speak to anyone.
