This was a fantastic introduction into the world of Power boating and the instructor Mark was first class. He made everyone feel at ease with the training and always explained it thoroughly so we fully understood what we were doing.
The facilities were more than adequate and directions to the yard were clear.
I can thoroughly recommend this Training School for this and future training as they were very professional and went about it in a very easy to learn way.
Ps....... watch out for the card shark though

I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful company to help grow my powerboat handling confidence. I called many companies across the coast and for me these stood out as the best. Fabulous communication and lots of clear information sent out prior to commencement of the course.

Every member of the team was very approachable and knowledgeable. Noel was my trainer and I felt there wasn't anything he didn't know - a real fountain of knowledge. He was calm and encouraging as well as ensuring we were safe at all times and had some fun along the way! We had a diverse range of ages and abilities within our cohort and I can certify that everyone was catered for.

His delivery of the PB2 training meant there was plenty of opportunity for hands on skills to be practiced and supported by the classroom learning too. They pace was perfect and we had ample time to master any manoeuvres we found tricky. Mark was in charge of the theoretical side of things and gave us relatable examples as well as mnemonics to help us retain key facts.

I would recommend the team to anyone and I am keen to do another course with them! Thank you Noel, Emily and Mark

I have just completed my powerboat level 2 and the whole experience was amazing. The set up is really professional and the equipment (including their boats) are practically brand new. My instructor (Emily) was fantastic and I can’t thank her enough. She was extremely knowledgable and a great teacher - I’ll definitely be returning to continue my training.

A fantastic course run by Mark. Learnt a lot and had a load of fun with Mark, Darren and John on the course. Mark is an excellent instructor who has a great way of teaching in a relaxed manner whilst ensuring you enjoy it the entire time. Noel takes the time to interact with the group on the course and is always looking to improve it. Him and Emily have a fantastic setup with both Get Lost Training and Powerboatclub.uk. I will definitely be looking to join the Powerboatclub.uk in Poole in due course and do a load more courses. Highly recommend Get Lost Powerboat training.

19.04.22 - Yacht Master Theory
cannot tick enough stars!! Noel and the whole team made me feel very welcome and managed to teach me everything I needed to know to pass my courses (teaching me can be difficult!!!). Classrooms are a great environment and not just a unit at the back of a marina. all of the boats are brand new and top quality and maintained to the highest of standards. teaching environment is top quality with all of the best teaching aids needed. Parking is a stones throw away from the front door and easy to find. cannot recommend enough. so much so I have booked a further 4 courses with them!

23.05.21 - First Aid
First aid now completed and AJ was superb, these courses can be a bit like death by PowerPoint but she made it interesting and interactive (best she could with Covid restrictions!) Highly Recommend

24.05.21 - Intermediate Power Boat
Another GREAT course with Louis. Even with bad weather the day was enjoyable and learnt a lot. Great team again shining through! New fish tank is lovely addition to the classroom!

I booked some time off work and had nothing planned to do. I always wanted to learn how to safely operate a power boat with a view of buying one in the future. I asked a friend who had done his level 2 power boat course with another company. I looked around and made the phone call and booked myself in. Our trainer for the 2 days was Emily she was very informative, Knowledgeable. The classrooms were very bright and comfortable though we never spent a lot of time inside. Out on the water most of the time practicing lots of different monoverse in tight spaces along with rescuing a man over board and parking. By the end of the course I feel more than comfortable to be able to out on the water by myself. I will defiantly be booking myself on to some of the other courses that they offer very soon. If I was asked to recommend a boat training company then Get Lost Powerboat Training Ltd would be most defiantly be the company.

I had a great couple of days out with my son and daughter under Tom's patient guidance and we all passed the Powerboat Handling Level II and now looking forward to renting a boat when we head to Greece later in the summer.
