After homeschooling my daughter for 2.5 years, I wanted to make sure her math was up to par before she headed off to college. I started with calling several places. One place called me back weeks later, another place I played phone tag with, another gentleman called me back while he was out, told me he'd call me back to get more info when he got home, never heard from him again. I called College 101 and left a message. Maryann called me back promptly and answered any questions I had, gave me scheduling and pricing information, and my daughter started the very next week. She met with Maryann twice a week for 1.5 hours from March until mid July, she felt very comfortable with Maryann. Maryann kept me updated on her progress and was always willing to help in any way she could. Maryann is not only a terrific tutor but a very kind and thoughtful person as well. My daughter now has a better foundation for college math and feels confident going into her freshman year. I cannot say enough great things about College 101, they were a blessing and I will be contacting them during college breaks or while she's away at college (they offer Zoom tutoring as well) if my daughter thinks she needs some extra help. If you're looking for tutoring, don't waste your time calling anywhere else, just call College 101!!!

Maryann and her tutors at College 101 are intelligent, talented, generous, flexible, and skilled at the craft of teaching. Each tutor has a deep knowledge of the content and the associated state/standardized exams. The environment at College 101 is warm and inviting, yet at the same time highly academic. As a high school AP teacher, I have first-hand experience with many tutoring programs. None compare in terms of personalized attention. College 101 has been and will remain my first choice for helping my own children to master middle/high school courses and for SAT prep. My children never complain on the way there and are happy on the way home. They look forward to time spent at College 101 because they walk away feeling ready to face tests and questions in class. Higher grades, lessened test anxiety, and academic confidence - everything that both parents and students want!

Maryann runs an excellent business. Over the years College 101 and has been an awesome addition to our students in the community. My son is 21 and he went for SAT prep and it enabled him to do very well because of her experience and staff. Couldn’t ask for a nicer person too!!

The wide variety of classes align perfectly with our school’s curriculum. College 101 takes a personal interest in your child, they are dedicated to their success. I have to say that Maryanne is the most amazing person. She works so hard to get the kids the educational support in all their classes and formats it based on the teacher and classes they are taking at the 3V schools. She gets them through elementary, junior high, and high school, and then gets them through the college testing. She hired students too so they can work student to students which can be less stressful for the kids and less expensive for the parents. She gives back so much to the community between her school supply drives and then the classes she offers like the suicide awareness program. She really is a huge asset to the community and our kids.

College 101 and Maryanne deserve an A+ in my book. Maryanne took the time to know my kids and what their educational needs were and a parent can’t ask for more.
