Very slowly walked around due to now being disabled. Beautiful beach. No fish and chips shops though from what I could find. All pasties and bucket and spades. The dog and I really enjoyed are day. Long bus ride from Plymouth tho. My son worked on the castle,so was nice to see his handy work. Picked up a nice bottle of rum.

Nice little seaside town. Plenty of shops selling gifts , souvenirs and general day to day supplies. Beaches are lovely, sandy, plenty of rock pools. Ideal for surfing with many surf equipment suppliers. Beach side cafés selling food and drinks. Beautiful scenery. Many cliff top walks.

A must if visiting Cornwall...lovely river walk with large cafe and outside seating most welcome after your walk..Bude town is small but has a good variety of shops ..good restaurants I personally would recommend The Dock overlooking the beach..

Great place to visit and enjoy the town and shops as well as all the seaside entertainment. Lots of independent restaurants and cafés! Of course it gets very busy during the (summer) Holidays but there are many carparks around. Unique sea pool as well as a huge beach to enjoy when the tide is out. Summerleaze and Crooklets beach can be found here as well.

We were there in 2021 when everything looked bleak.vgreat to see a much recovered town centre. Kept in great condition too. Locals may find it a bit useless, but it's very good for tourist requirements.
