Absolute scam! Their website states that you can complete your course at your own pace but what they don't tell you is that the courses do have expiry dates and once they lapse you cannot get them back, nor do they refund or exchange any that have expired. I've moved to Centre of Excellence for my new course, much cheaper, much better customer support and guarantee that courses never expire. May as well have chucked £1000 down the toilet...

I am very pleased that I have got connected with Direct Learning before I start my school this year. I selected two courses this year form Learn Direct
which will give me a fantastic start to this new Covid 19 Year. I am really enjoying my course. The course is intense and my assignments are marked regularly. The Guidance is immaculate, no doubt. I am very pleased with the Learn Direct and can recommend to anyone who wants to improve their skills. Thanks to the Learn Direct.

I have completed 2 courses with Stonebridge. On both occasions I have been fortunate to encounter a high quality distant learning service. I would recommend Stonebridge to my friends and family. During my studies it was helpful to proceed with the course at my own pace to help me balance my work and studies. The feedback I received was prompt and the comments were always helpful and encouraging. The course material was easy to access and follow. Thank you Stonebridge for the opportunity and keep providing the excellent distant learning service in the future.

I started the Level 3 Psychology course with Stonebridge College last week. I enquired via their live chat and one of their customer services team (Anthony Holmes) called me and went through everything with me on the phone. It only took 5 minutes and I had instant access to my account and the course.
The actual course is very comprehensive and there's a nice list of suggested further reading. I've submitted a couple of assignments and both were marked within 48 hours by Alison Brown and returned with detailed feedback.
So far I'm very impressed. There's a couple of areas being developed in the student area, a social media style tool and a badge/award system (similar to a fitbit). Will be nice to see these come to fruition.

After being out of education for some time I thought that the course I paid for, and still continue to pay for would be a good stepping stone to move onto university. The course content, website and support is horrendous DO not spend your money and invest your time with this terrible establishment. I struggled with the first 3 units and gave up around 6 months ago, I still have not had any contact as to why I have not completed any units, yet my money still leaves my account. There are better online courses available but I discovered that too late and Stone Bridge do not have a good reputation.

It was easy to work through course at my own rate with support in the background if I needed it. Speedy feedback on submissions (of great importance to me as doing course in an accelerated way). Assignment brief gave a real starter for ten to look for more and made studying pleasurable. Flexible approach amazing and great for people coming back into study. Also additional information about how to study, submit, retain information very useful. Great springboard to my new life! And it is all systems go so far!!

I haven't yet received my certificate so can't comment on that part but I am very glad I took the chance of studying with Stonebridge. I did the level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools. I studied years ago at degree level and I did not find this easy. You do need to work for this and my assessor was extremely thorough. I got employed as a TA half way through my course which was a bonus. I always had my assignments back from Lisa in a few days with a lot of constructive feedback. Overall I've had a positive experience with you.

Level 3 Specialist Teaching and Learning in Schools.
This course has been hard work, but I have enjoyed it. My tutor was super fast with her marking and gave very good feedback. I really liked the online aspect of the course and how you could monitor your progress through the ePearl dashboard. The study materials have been informative and interesting and the signposting for extended learning has been well thought out, although some of the links need updating. I like how session sheets and reflective sheets have been combined, recently, to cut down on paperwork.
Problems - some of the questions are ambiguous and not very clear. (My tutor is going to feed this back to standardisation meetings, as she agreed with me). There was also not enough info around cross referencing session sheets, which you can do for a lot of it with some forward planning. This would help stop panic setting in when you think you have 30 session sheets to write for one assignment.
Overall a great course and would recommend Stonebridge studying to anyone. I am now doing 3 courses by using up the learning credits, (earned from my level 3 TA one), for free. They are worth around £1000 in total and are accredited, so worth the extra time to do them. No assignment dates means I can do them at my own pace over the holidays.
