This is a fantastic Scout campsite. There's loads of great activities available like bouldering, archery, tomahawks, high ropes, climbing, caving, fire areas etc. The Little Gems museum of history of scouting & guiding is also great. The camping areas, toilets and kitchens are fantastic and well kept by the wardens.

Used to go here in the 1980s when in the St Josephs group for Mr Handle winning treasure hunt for nearly 5 years. As well we did the Lancashire Queen's Regiment at Fullwood assault courses every year!

Great campsite and activity centre, in a quiet and secluded part of Lancashire, right in the middle of unspoilt countryside. For Guide and Scout groups only.

My young Scout loved it here. He said that the toilets were very clean, always a good start! Enjoyed pitching his tent in the dark and didn't find it difficult to push the pegs in. They took shelter and ate in the huts. He thought it was fantastic. He had a very tiring but awesome weekend here. Just like I remember from many years ago..
