In 2021 we decided that we wished to have advice about tax and estate planning from financial planners with international knowledge. After much research we decided to contact Blevins Franks. Our initial telephone conversation with Nick Pascoe confirmed our choice as did our subsequent meeting. Over the last 3 years we have had contact with Jolyon Grant-Dalton who like Nick is knowledgeable and efficient, listens to and understands our questions and remarks and tailors his advice to suit our needs. We do recommend Blevins Franks.

I had the pleasure to speak with Nick Pasco in relation to a French life insurance. Nick came across as very knowledgeable, efficient and professional ; answering and clarifying all my queries. The company itself has been highly recommended by a network of British expats living in France for the right reasons ...

We became clients of Blevins Franks in 2007 when we relocated to Spain, and continued our relationship some years later when we moved to France.
In 2015 we came back to the UK.
During the period abroad we were fortunate to develop wonderful relationships with our respective Client Service Managers, who made our moves from a fiscal perspective with great ease and problem free.
When we relocated back to the UK in 2015 we met our new Client Service Manager, and in the passage of time we are yet again fortunate to have someone from BF with a wonderful breadth of knowledge and pinpoint understanding of our fiscal requirements.
We continue to enjoy the excellent service, advice and fiscal management that has been so successful over the years.
Thank you Blevins Franks for providing such a wealth of talent, and we hope our present relationship with Duncan Sandbrook, our Client Service Manager, will continue for many years to come.

I have always found the team at Blevin Franks to be approachable and helpful in their information and what they can offer. I am a relatively unsophisticated investor having inherited my father's contacts at Blevin Franks after he passed away. I find I am treated as a valued customer nonetheless and feel they are transparent and honest in their dealings with me. I have trust in their recommendations.

I have been an investor with Blevin Franks for many years and have always been completely satisfied with this service. Special thanks to Henry Rutherford and the team for getting my pension onshore, despite the never-ending obstacles placed in their way by the other company. I would definitely recommend them - in fact, I already have!

Under no circumstances use Blevins Franks as financial advisors in the UK. Terrible service. Fast talking so-called Directors. Extremely shoddy reports. Get these checked! They make mistakes! Just don’t seem to care once you are a client. If you complain many times, you’ll probably get a phone call or two, but hardly ever anything backed by an email. They use what they call ā€œpara-plannersā€ as outsourced advisers. Also very poor in my opinion. Had a good advisor in France but in my experience the London lot are very poor. I shopped around and found almost every advisor I consulted better that what I experienced with Blevins Franks. Even when I informed them I was unhappy with the service and was changing advisors, there was no reply, follow up or interact in my complaints. I had over 1 million invested. They are defensive, arrogant and, in my view, Blevins Franks UK should be avoided.

Deciding how to go about getting professional advice on international tax arrangements in itself was daunting. I made some initial email enquiries with Blevins Franks and within a couple of days (Christmas period) the Private Client Manager, John Debono responded with some clear and precise answers that have enabled me to make an informed decision - I would highly recommend their services and look forward to working with them in the future.
