you will develop depression if you come here.
This school only cares about their image rather then having necessary resources for students for example im in year 2 now and im not allowed to recieve the year 1 textbook (which i use to revise year 1 content) as they dont have enough which means that i now have to provide myself with textbooks. Aswell as pay for the overpriced food, you would think by charging so much for food they would be able to afford textbooks and other resources needed to succeed acedemically. The reason i have to even write this review is because its my last resort to get those in power to listen. afterall this college functions the same as a business would, only caring about profit maximizing. I hope you make the right decision and go to a normal sixthform as the benefits are far better then having no dress code or “more freedom”

I attended this school in 2019 at 16 and dropped out around December time. It's simple. This College will make you depressed and potentially lead you to death. I'm glad I dropped out and Im pursuing a degree at a Russell group. If you plan to go here please ensure you have the best mental capacity and that you can endure and survive anything.

Don't come here for any gcse. I was told that I had done my gcse, but I found out that I haven't got any gcse the college had lied to me about it. and now I'm in a bad situation. I've had to go get my gcse at a different college. I wish I hadn't gone to this college at all. If I could, I would give it one star

UPDATE JUNE 2024: WARNING! Some very bad decisions are being made by NCC. They are changing the lessons from 4 per week to 3 longer ones, but cutting the overall teaching time by TEN MINUTES PER WEEK! Over time, this will add up to a MASSIVE loss of learning. The teachers aren't happy about it and neither are my two kids. I know of at least TWO excellent Chemistry teachers who are now planning on leaving. Really worried about the loss of good staff as my youngest daughter still has another year of A levels and needs top grades to get where she wants in life. The current head of Chem is amazing and really seems to care about the quality of teaching. When he leaves, it will be BAD. So I am dropping my original 4 star review to 2 stars. This isn't what we signed up for and we have not been consulted about any of it!... Original review: My daughter enjoys studying A levels in this more adult environment rather than a restrictive school 6th form. Chemistry, Biology and Music teachers are very good here. My daughter enjoys her lessons and is being given plenty of chances to perform, which builds confidence. Facilities for lunch are over-crowded though and 'learning support' is often closed at random times, which can be really distressing for kids with ASD and sensory issues, hence the 4 stars. Enrolling was also an 8 hour nightmare (even though we were given an 'appointment time')! Overall though, it's a good place to study and a friendly environment. However, they only do online parent's evenings which I hate and the teacher gets cut off in the middle of talking to you. I couldn't even get an appointment with the Maths tutor! Utterly useless and I now refuse to do them! Also the information evening they gave new parents in September was a waste of our time. Spent almost an hour lecturing us on the importance of attendance (like we haven't had that drummed into us since they were five!). If parents don't know that by the time they're 16, they NEVER WILL! They had a TV display which we couldn't see and we could barely hear them at the back. After an hour of pointlessness, we were invited to try and find our kid's tutors in various parts of the college, rather than just have them in the room with us. I left. I don't have time for this!!! Thought I was done with this rubbish when they left school!

I do Law and Psychology A-Levels alongside another (which there is no point in disclosing for this review). For Psychology, the content is good and the teachers are nice however 2 of them are on leave until next year. If you are considering joining the college, please ensure you get Farzana as your psychology teacher. As for law, this is my favourite subject, and the content is great. Erin is a great teacher. She's kind and competent in her teaching. However, Chris Niyazi is one of the most incompetent teachers I have ever had the displeasure of being taught by. My experience with him (which is not unique or specific but infact universal) has been terrible and horrendous. His teaching style benefits nobody and he just kind of expects you to know what hes talking about and if you get landed with him as a teacher youre better off teaching yourself. The college really really needs to reconsider who theyre hiring.

Personally, when I went to this college, I had a bad experience there because the food there was awful. Also, be very careful what you buy at the canteen because you have a limit of £3.50. So if you're planning to buy some lunch, you might not be able to have a hot lunch and a drink only one of them so choose wisely. Also, at the time, there was a student who searched the image of little kids, and babies printed it out for himself (which isn't a good thing) (Also when he got caught for doing that he didn't get kicked out of the college)

Too much racism and haterard towards ethnics. I am jewish and I was treated horribly here by the college staff. The pupils were fine but the teachers and management threw abuse at me everyday and now they r supporting genocide

I'm not sure this is accurate but supposedly a teacher has been fired for wearing a Palestine badge, this is representation of another country, this is not an offence. Please confirm this so I can delete this review. If this is true, I am very appalled that you can't represent a country that is going through a lot right now!
