We have been using EL now for two months. In general, the whole organisation runs well, and this branch seems to be managed particularly well. We had a good opening meeting before signing up and got to look at their programme. My two children took to the setting very well and the staff are always smiley and child friendly to make the learning fun. My two are 8 & 9 and the younger one is doing their English and Maths programme. The elder one is working on the 11+ programme. There appears to be good measures in place for safeguarding reasons when the children arrive and leave. The programme itself you have log in details for and includes unlimited practice at home. The system builds the child up slowly with levels to maintain confidence. It obviously has algorithms that record every question that is answered and gives you a guide of strengths and weaknesses. This then allows you to focus on what needs more practice. We have already had a parent meeting to discuss progress and points for us as parents and the centre to focus on. I believe these are held quarterly. It’s worth noting that you can use childcare vouchers to pay for subscription which helps with the cost particularly if you have multiple children. In all I would definitely recommend this centre for your child’s development because it’s a fun place to learn and the system is very good to allow you to work with your child also from home to give them that boost.

Crayford center is possible the best place, for English and Maths tuition. My daughter has been attending the center since she was in year 2. She has gained so much from going. She has caught up after Covid19, missing so much schooling. She is now in year 10, and still loves to go. She has covered some of the work she learnt in year 10 from doing Maths at the center.

Connect Hub

Rachel, Olivia and the team at Explore Learning are amazing! They work very well with me as parents to understand my children's learning behaviours and support them through their learning. They are open to regular communication on my children's progress and they genuinely love children and work very well with them. The Navigator is a great online tool for parents to track the progress of their children in line with the National Curriculum. You can also reschedule sessions online ahead of time so that the children don't miss out. My son Jo is in his 3rd year at the centre and my daughter JJ has been there for over 4 years.

Both of my children go to this center for years. They provide tailormade tutoring based on the child's individual capability within the national curriculum. The current managers Olivia and Rachel are amazing. We cannot recommend them enough.

Excellent tutors! Explore really helps the kids stay ahead of what they are learning at school. Staff are really helpful and flexible when sessions need to be changed. Always happy to adapt the sessions when the kids need to focus on a specific area.
