A decent set up for a village team, but those that run the children’s teams are quite rude, money hungry and play their favourites week in week out.
They charge £30 a month for training then the favourites get a game most weeks, those unfortunate are lucky if they get a game a month.
They take on far too many players, which is pure greed with the monthly fees.
The coaches are quite ignorant and will walk by the parents and children and not even acknowledge any of them.
We aren’t the only ones to notice this and have had other parents make the same comments.
I’m all for nurturing the next Beckham, but don’t single out those who are always willing and yet aren’t given a chance.
I was once a player to a high standard and have my coaching badges and see a lot of mistakes being made, which are leaving the children demotivated and feeling not good enough.
When contacted to say that we wouldn’t be returning, we had a simple reply to say ok then, no further questions or encouragement.
As I say money hungry and the children are least of the priorities.

Fantastic community football club. Pitches in great condition, lovely club house, let down only by confusing parking (but there were several matches on at once - lots of parents)
